well thanks for the advice. I've been scrubbing the heck out of them.. lol No wonder it got worse. I am also worried about scarring or that the hair wont grow back. the spots are still rust colored.. I can send pics if anyone wants to email.. I dont know how else to put them up here.. they are nasty looking just to warn you.

No, no, that's ok, I know what the stuff looks like.
I'd 'scrubbed' too, at first, and enlarged Fred's spot to the size of a silver dollar.... then someone told me not to and why... sheesh.
Be gentle with the areas, it's a spore just under and on the surface of the skin. You need to let the medication soak in and kill them, which takes a bit of time.
Everyone says it's so contagious, but I didn't have it spread to the other 4 cats, or to any humans other than the one spot I got, so I don't think it's quite as bad as people say. Stick with putting the medicine on, I was doing it twice to three times a day. Fred actually liked the attention, I would talk to him as I rubbed it in and he sort of grooved on that.
I saw new hair growth pushing up within a week and a half in the center of the spot. He has a white coat, and what came in was sort of yellowish, but when he shed out during winter it turned white again. No scarring, no rings left, it looked completely normal.

Hi there, I have had cats with ringworm before. I'm guessing you've been to the vet and they have given you some cream to put on. (Something like Fucibet?). Just keeping using the cream. (Wash your hands after). I have never known hair not to grow back and luckily never had it spread to any of my other cats.
I have had ringworm myself, it itches like hell - don't scrub, the poor things.
