If you don't believe in God,don't bother answering.I respect your choice not to believe.

At times I find people pretty rude here.

God doesn't mind his kids discussing all the possible answers to all the questions posed in life......so long as our interactions are respectful and courteous. Besides, I think God has a great sense of humor!!

As a whole, I think God would be very happy with the behavior of His followers here in R&S. The true followers of Christ try to truly answer the questions and not be offensive. Some people are new Christians, and they are more sensitive to the mockery that is thrown at them. But the more mature Christian realizes that the insults fall on Jesus first, and Jesus can take care of himself. Hang in there, spread the Word (seed) and let God be the Gardner.

It is very easy to think everyone that says they are Christians, but they are not what Jesus had in mind for the Christian actions. Many of these are the loudest people you hear about.

Now, I DO NOT believe the followers of God do these things that happen here on R&S. Many people are quiet, peace loving and faithful to the cause of Christ. Those are seldom remembered because they do not make much noise. Only the loud are seen or heard most of the time.

I don't think all are bad. Just like anywhere else, you meet all kinds. I can only account for how I act. I do understand what you are saying. I have come to R&S a few times and it wasn't good. I came here the first time to answer a contact's question and could not believe how bad some people were. I am very cautious about coming here.

I think you have a valid point here. Two of God's main messages have always been love your neighbors and do not pass judgment. Sadly, there are not too many people who follow those very wise words.

“Listen to advice and accept instruction, and in the end you will be wise. Many are the plans in a man's heart, but it is the LORD's purpose that prevails.”- Proverbs 19:20-21

Referring to this question, I'm a very open minded guy and if find a lot of the question posted persons all of different beliefs are genuine and interesting enough to answer. Most are just to stir a response between different beliefs on R&S by there simple and childish content. I never knew until answering and asking a few questions on R&S of having a "label" placed on my open mindedness that I am according to some of being an Atheist and I'm going to hell dogma by uneducated persons who have no knowledge I've studied for thee years and hold a B.A.degree in Behavioral Studies in human culture , science, religion and war history. I don't get offended. It shows to me a lot of people's opinions and there lack of knowledge of there beliefes.

(aside) You didn't need to put a comma between "happy" and "with".

I am sure God is big enough to take whatever anyone throws at Him. He's been around a long long time, and besides, He's powerful. Lots of people forget that. And Big. Very Big.

And fortunately for me and many others, merciful Very Merciful.

But you are correct in that we should examine our behavior closely as if God was right beside us watching our every move. Monitor ourselves for the sake of the dignity of others and for the salvation of our own souls.

Hey, this was a darn good question.

Actually, I would say yes. Here's why. Most of the people on this forum are engaging with God, not just checking in once or twice during whatever their sacred interval happens to be.

There are a wide variety of opinions and rather obviously a wide range of spiritual maturity levels, but for the most part people here aren't just taking the very low road of ignoring the "God question."

I think your question proves my point... and a very commendable question it is! Grace and Peace!

How many time have I come across "you will burn in Hell" How is that helping. A lot of judgmental answers don't help either. We all sin, why not point out how a behavior is wrong for them instead of saying they are bad people. (aren't we all)

SHINIGAM - correcting people's grammar is also rude, I say this only to caution you as it is a violation under Answers policies

Christians are just humans with all kinds of different
ideas and ways to answer questions. I think the true
born=again Christians try to honestly answer people
who have real questions about religion, the Bible, and
God. I think God would be happy with my answers as
I try to give Biblical facts and answers and give the
scripture verses (if I can come up with them fast enough
to get it down in "Answers").
