This is my friend's dog, I am taking care of her until she finds a place to rent with a backyard, she told me that she "might" be pregnant, but she does not know for sure...the thing is that yesterday I saw she was really down and green stuff was coming out from her "tush"... what is it? it does not smell, it is just a very dark green liquid like blood...and today I found a big spot like blood/water on the patio floor...what is wrong with her? I touched her belly last night and I did not feel anything ( puppies moving ) her tummy was really hard, she does not look happy...I called my friend and NO ANSWER!
please tell me what is wrong with her dog!!
thank you...

I'm sure everyone is going to say this... get the dog to a vet ASAP! The dog may or may not be pregnant. There is an infection that unspayed female dogs get that can be very deadly. If she is pregnant she may be unable to deliver the pups naturally. Don't waste any time. Her life could honestly depend on it. Good luck!!

This dog has a chronic eye infection and needs professional treatment. Yes you can help by gently removing the discharge, but I'd not put anything in the eye unless advise by a vet who can check and correctly diagnose exactly what's going on. And if this has been going on for a while already, rather than wait for the morning, I'd be contacting an emergency vet. Eyes are way too previous and if this gets any worse, it is possible he may lose the sight in that eye.

If by "tush" you mean her vaginal/urethra opening then there is a possibility she could have a condition called pyometra. This is a terrible infection of the uterus and can be lethal if it goes untreated. It usually occurs 4 to 5 weeks after the heat cycle.
Also, if the dog is pregnant, she could just have an infection. Sometimes during the last 2 weeks of their pregnancy, my Bulldogs need an antibiotic to help them with this.
Either way you should call the vet ASAP and he can tell you what's up with this. Both conditions are very serious. Let me know what you find out!

Thsi dog needs a vet very quickly! Pregnant or not green stuff is not a good sign. If you cant get ahold of your friend than you will have to take the dog into the vets. she could be in labor but there is no way to know for sure until the vet tells you. She's in trouble!

My dog had the dark green stuff then the blood it means the puppies have broken away not that she is in trouble. You will have puppies. Just keep her comfortable and ring the vet and ask for advice. I am definately no expert but my dog did the same thing and she was fine. But definatley at least ring the vet.

This dog needs a vet NOW, if left until morning she could very well be dead.
If her uterus is filled with pus, (green stuff) it could very well rupture and cause her whole body to become toxic.
This is known as pyometra, and it WILL kill if not treated ASAP.
Don't take chances with the dog's life, get her into a vet right away.

Green in a pregnancy is NOT GOOD AT ALL I would take her to the vet immediately because it sounds like a uterine infection or some sort of infection especially if it is green . I would suggest taking her to the vet NOW and getting a hold of your friend as soon as you can.

Dark green exudation means that a puppy has died in utero and the placenta is becoming detached. This girl needs immediate veterinary attention.
