If you are in debt up to your eyeballs, you can't afford to enjoy what you have. You also won't have much money to buy food and the necessities that you need.
You will also be losing out on the people who admire someone who has control of their lives.
Ever try making love to money?
Every try making love to credit card bills?

OH for sure! Live the simple happy life debt free. If you want More from life. Get a better paying job but don't live beyond your means.
This of staying debt free as "Sticking It To The Man!" In the long run. You will be happier with little then a lot and stressing about debt.
They really should teach this better in High School for kids joining the working world.

I would rather have a little and be debt free. We save for everything that we want. We do finance our cars but we save a large down payment and only have one new car at a time. Life is stress free and we still get to have what we want. Having to wait a little bit for it just makes us appreciate what we buy more.

A little and debt free.But its all in how you look at it,actually you will have more if you don't do a lot of impulse buying,its ok to go looking but not buying all the time.I window shop alot,and I have discovered that can be more fun than actually owning an object.

Little and debt free .. actually if you DON'T buy on credit and only spend what you can afford, because in the end you will have a lot more money BECAUSE you are not wasting your income every month on INTEREST..

well I would really rather have a lot and be debt free....but of the choices I would always choose debt free.
