I feel a calling to serve at the church, to teach others and possibly lead. I am not concerned with money, as I would take much less for the satisfaction of saved souls. Anyone who may be church leadership able to help me discern my feelings towards this? I am not looking for anything self-serving, but to win souls and change lives for the better. Please answer, message or email me please.

I have also made a quick check of myself to ensure I am not serving my ego or pride in this matter.

Praise God! if you are feeling 'a calling' to serve God. I would suggest that you go to a seminary and talk with the people there and go from there. Tell your pastor at your place of worship and I'm sure she/he will suggest that you sit down with the leaders and discuss your calling. The church must confirm your calling. Start there. God bless your journey!

Go straight to the people just as Jehovah's Witnesses do.
Commanded to Preach:
Matthew 24:14 14 And this good news of the kingdom will be preached in all the inhabited earth for a witness to all the nations; and then the end will come.
Jesus disciples: Acts 5:42; And every day in the temple and from house to house they continued without letup teaching and declaring the good news about the Christ, Jesus.
Jesus talking: Acts 20:20; while I did not hold back from telling YOU any of the things that were profitable nor from teaching YOU publicly and from house to house.
Preaching from house to house is the most effective way to reach people.
We are ordered to preach: Acts 20:42; Also, he ordered us to preach to the people and to give a thorough witness that this is the One decreed by God to be judge of the living and the dead
We don't get paid, we do this work because we love our neighbors.
Mark12:31, You must love your neighbor as yourself. There is no other comandment greater than these.

That's awesome that you feel called to enter the mission field. Praise God that you are so willing to further the kingdom of Heaven! You have so many opportunities in missions, find the one that is best suited for you. There is no reason to feel as though your desire to teach may not be from God- it is a natural response to feeling God's own love and compassion for us. We know that we are saved, our sins have been washed away, and there are others who are still lost and alone. We should all want to tell them about Jesus. We have the key, let's start unlocking doors! God bless!

Serving God is a good thing too, you know. Why not start by serving Him in the capacity He has enabled you to? He raised you from your youth, whether you know it or not. He has already crafted you.
So wait upon Him, He will tell you about what you need to do. If it takes it, get away from everybody, turn off the music and TV, grab a Bible and get into the word heavy. Talk to Him regularly - that's an act of faith - and wait for Him to direct you.

The best advice we've ever heard on being in the ministry is don't do it unless you have to. If it is a part of who you are and you would be denying who God made you to be if you didn't get involved then he has probably put that desire in you. Just keep seeking God, he has more for you than you could imagine.

Well, I would say to first make sure you are obey God's revealed will for your life. God's revealed will is what the Bible says God wants for our lives. God will not reveal his personal will for your life unless you are first obeying his revealed will for your life. If you are already doing that then I suggest you speak with your Pastor about it. He should be able to help you discern God's personal will for your life. I also suggest that you get a copy of JACK HYLES ON PRAYER. You can probably find a used copy on eBay.
