I live in SC... I just got a new puppy.. he got fleas so I got flea shampoo and bathed him.. But I want to take him to the vet for preventive care.. how much should I expect to spend?

My puppy's first visit with all her shots was 95.00...Call your vet ahead and get an estimate and what to expect as far as shots, worming, etc...

Easily $100. By the time you pay for the office visit, shots and flea preventative, heart worm meds... it all adds up. That reminds me my boys need to go in.

Remember too that pups have 3 or 4 visits that are about a month apart before they are finished with their baby shots. After that it's only once a year.

How about just ringing round the nearest vets for quotes? Not much point people on here telling you how much they paid for Frontline and vaccintions, the prices vary quite a lot from place to place.
