i may not be able drive yet, but i do have this equipment:
Canon XTi
Canon 70-200mm f/4L USM
Canon 100mm Macro
Canon 18-55 Kit Lens
Canon 70-300mm f/4 IS USM
...and i am going to get a few more and i am on a budget for the bag. i am not looking to spend more than 60 bucks.

Check out this guy's camera backpacks. They are under $60 and are pretty nice. I've been using one for over 5 years without problems.

Go to shutterbug.com and in the Search box type in backpacks. The Aug. 2007 issue has a Buyer's Guide about them.

IMO it would take a very dumb thief to see someone with a nice camera and a backpack and not be able to connect the two. Oh well. to each his own.

i use lowepro, the mini trekker goes well on my assistants back, harder to be stolen that way also
