oooh im a teenager. So heartly coming from me, 15, CARS are more deadly. Nearly 6000 teenagers die in CAR crashes each year. This is from the Allstate Commercial. Barely do teens get killed by guns. I mean come on, its once in a while you hear about teenagers being KILLED by guns. Which is being deadly like you said. Some people may say "well they might accidently shoot themselves, but going back to yor question u said deadly. The shot wouldn't usually be deadly. It would be deadly from pain or if you were shot in the head or heart. Cars is definetly more worse.

I've had one close call with a gun. I've had a lot of close calls with a car. Driving a car is one of the most dangerous things anyone of any age can do, especially teenagers. At least you have to be 18 to buy a rifle or shotgun; there are 15 and 16 year olds out there in Daddy's Viper who really don't know what 500 HP can do when it gets away from them. I think most 18 year olds know what a 12 ga or .30-06 can do.

While there are hundreds of firearms related fatalities each year in the US, there are tens of thousands of automobile related casualties. That makes a car over 100 times as deadly as a gun. That's not my opinion, that's just the facts, and the math.

more people die in car accidents than from gun shots each year just the facts
But I still have yet to see a gun or car hurt or kill anyone with out somebody either pulling the trigger or pushing on the gas
so I guess I am saying they both are equal if there is no people in the mix

i agree that both are not dangerous without the human element involved, experience matters in each but teen car accidents still kill and injure more each year than guns do, if you could calculate the number of teens killed in car accidents versus the number of teens killed with guns considering that a teen cannot legally own a firearm but can own a car - American children are more at risk from firearms than the children of any other industrialized nation. In one year, firearms killed no children in Japan, 19 in Great Britain, 57 in Germany, 109 in France, 153 in Canada, and 5,285 in the United States. (Centers for Disease Control)In 2002 3,012 kids or teens were killed by gunfire with 4-5 times that many injured, More than 6,000 teens died in car crashes in the United States in 2002, and more than 500,000 suffered life-altering injuries. Given that a teen makes considerably more trips in a car than times using or being around a firearm statistically the probability for anyone teen or adult to die or be injured in car accident far out weighs the proability of being injured or killed by gunfire.

I think they are equally as deadly. It's all about using them properly and being safe with them.

Car... dont drink and drive, don't head the wrong way down the highway, etc.

Gun... dont drink and play with one, dont aim it at others, never put your finger on the trigger unless you're want to shoot what you're aiming at, etc.

You can shoot someone and it not be deadly, you can also hit someone in a car and it not be deadly. But you can also shoot someone and it be deadly and you can also hit someone in a car and it be deadly. It's all about using it properly and being smart and safe.

looking at this logically neither tool can be deadly on it's own.
They both require human intervention to operate. While both can be misused and be labeled as the cause for damage or death it was not the item itself that caused the problem but the person operating it. Too many people try and blame anyone but themselves for their problems and don't take responsibilities for their actions.

id have to say the gun you can take it any where and hit someone at a distance but you do here of more people dieing from a car acident than a gun so it depends on how you use it

All machine items are dangerous; my oldest daughter has killed more deer with a Buick than most people I know have killed with a rifle. I finally ran out of replacement cars so now she is reduced to using a Tahoe.

Definitely a car. You don't hear about many teenagers shooting people, but there are tons of fatal car wrecks involving teenagers. This morning, I read about one that took place last night.
