The first thing you have to do is own your anger. You don't get mad ABOUT things, you get mad because you CHOOSE to react that way. There are other ways to act in a bad situation. You need to analyze some of these situations where you have had inappropriate outbursts and think about how you could have handled them better. This isn't something that will be easy. It it going to take a lot of time and effort on your part, just like breaking any other bad habit. Get professional help if you feel you need some. There is no shame in reaching out for help in these circumstances.
But above all else remember, YOU and ONLY YOU have control over yourself.

Ask yourself why you are feeling mad all the time? About what? Little things? or major issues? Let the little things go. Learn to have patience in life. Release your stress if you have any, in a positive way or outlet. Learn to forgive in your heart. If you are feeling mad then your blood pressure goes up, then you get riled up and then you may or may not end up doing something you regret later on in life. Take a time out for yourself and ask yourself if the situation worth getting mad over?

There are lots of things you can do to relieve some stress and probably calm you down a bit. Getting regular (and lots of) exercise will help. Try taking a kickboxing or boxing class at your gym. It is a great way to get lots of cardio exercise, and afterward you feel better, I swear. Not to mention taking your aggressions out on a bag feels great...and I find, as far as exercise goes, it's a really fun workout.

I would go see a doctor and let them figure out what I could do to help myself from being mad all the time.
