I mean what really convinces people to "convert" to atheism/agnosticism? Is it reading a well written convincing argument of why evolution is true or why the Bible shouldn't be taken literally. Or is it reading some YE creationist dribble that claims that people lived with dinosaurs, the world is only 6000 years old and that every fossil was planted by satan.

I know that hearing the deliberate falsehoods about evolution is what got me started down the path of non-believer.How can you have the truth if you have to lie about it? When I was twelve I had a Sunday school teacher who used to lie about Darwin. He used to tell us that Darwin recanted his theory on his deathbed. It took until I was in college for me to finally figure out that he was a liar.
