My Wife and I studied with Jehovah's Witnesses and in Aug. 1996 we were baptized.
We knew we had found the truth.
We also heard about all the lies that Jehovah's Witnesses are a cult and brain washed.
But any honest reasonable person will ask a active Jehovah's Witness about our beliefs.
Apostates never have any thing good to say about true Jehovah's Witnesses.
We truly love people and want to help them learn the truth. I know in time all will know that we were just trying to lead them to Jehovah and his beautiful Son Jesus Christ.
Millions of people all over this world are leaving false religion and studying with Jehovah's Witnesses. People that are trying to fight against us are actually fighting against God.
We read the Bible every day and know what the Bible teaches.
We have no traditions of man and we go to the Bible for all of our answers to questions.
Jesus said you will know the truth and the truth will set you free.
The truth is beautiful.

It is true that Jehovah's Witnesses are not loved by everyone.
http://jw-media.org/newsroom/human_rights.htm
Some people hate Jehovah's Witnesses out of ignorance, or over some misunderstanding. A few may have had a bad personal experience with an individual who claimed to be a Jehovah's Witness, and prejudicially extended their animus to this entire Christian religion.
However, it seems that the majority of anti-Witness hatred is motivated by religious intolerance and bigotry. A few may even be motivated against their Christian worship by the unseen 'god of this system of things', Satan the Devil.
(2 Corinthians 4:4) the god of this system of things has blinded the minds of the unbelievers
Interestingly, such "hatred" should be expected by true Christians in this time of the end, and it actually helps identify Jehovah's Witnesses as Christ's true disciples:
(John 15:19) If you were part of the world, the world would be fond of what is its own. Now because you are no part of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, on this account the world hates you.
(Luke 6:22) Happy are you whenever men hate you, and whenever they exclude you and reproach you and cast out your name as wicked for the sake of the Son of man.
(1 Peter 4:4) Because you do not continue running with them in this course to the same low sink of debauchery, they are puzzled and go on speaking abusively of you.
(2 Timothy 4:3-5) For there will be a period of time when they will not put up with the healthful teaching, but, in accord with their own desires, they will accumulate teachers for themselves to have their ears tickled; and they will turn their ears away from the truth, whereas they will be turned aside to false stories. You, though, keep your senses in all things, suffer evil, do the work of an evangelizer, fully accomplish your ministry.
It seems signficant that the relatively small religion of Jehovah's Witnesses are the ones best known for their worldwide preaching work. Yet Jesus commanded that ALL who would call themselves "Christian" perform this public work:
(Matthew 28:19,20) Go therefore and make disciples of people of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the holy spirit, teaching them to observe all the things I have commanded you. And, look! I am with you all the days until the conclusion of the system of things.

first, let me say that I am a Jehovah's Witness.
BUT, i haven't always been.
I was brought up in one of the 'mainstream' religions. back in the 80's, I started investigating the teachings of the Witnesses. I actually did research into alot of different things that they used to speak about. I did this research ON MY OWN, NOT WITH THEM.
for example:hell/Sheol/Gehenna,
the New World Translation as opposed to the KJV bible
not only did I see that they spoke the truth according to history and proper definitions of things(like hell), I found out that I had been mis-informed and lied to all my childhood years. Lied to by those claiming to be "preachers" and 'Sunday school teachers' I can't blame them (the main-stream religions)for their misinformation: they had also been mislead!
well , no need to go on ----you see where I stand now.
With Jehovah's help, I will always be a Witness.
if you want to be absolutely sure of the answer to your question, why don't you speak directly with a witness yourself. I am talking about one-on-one, maybe study. I think that you will be pleasantly surprised!

Would you say a nation of working believers currently serving God in the ways he commanded his son to teach; anything but Christians?
And by the way to accusers, have you EVER looked at the inside cover of any watchtower magazine? It clearly states that Jesus is our reigning king. Does that make us believers?
I say "NATION" because we are world wide nearly 7 million strong.

Everyone has the right to their beliefs.
I base my believes on the what the bible says, so I'd have to disagree with you on this one.

When the phrases "we know that," and "it is a fact that," etc., are used you know that there is a lot of deception going on. This particular group is the worst for that.

No, many disagree with our beliefs. Satan for instance:D, but then He clearly doesn't want any to pursue serving God.

I would not call them by any name but a cult. They do not beleive in Jesus as being God's Son, do not believe in Trinity, do not believe in a gift of salvation but they need to go out and do certain hours witnessing, they say there is no Hell, do not beleive in the devil and so on. They have not been around long and that should make us all be careful.

Yes, just like Catholics, Orthodox, Mormons, & Muslims. There are many more, but these are the main ones who use Jesus and don’t really follow the Truth of God’s Word.
