That IS the logical outcome of the fundamentalists' claim, ridiculous as it is.

Belief in Jesus is the only way to Heaven. This is available to EVERYONE.

It's better than Shariah Law which would kill the rape victim as an adulterer if the rape couldn't be proved or wasn't witnessed by 4 men. Why would allah demand that 4 witnesses are needed? What kind of thing would expect men to stand by and watch a violent crime occur?

God Bless.

What if the victim was on the same side of the religion? Will they be equally treated and both will go to heaven as if nothing happened? Where is justice? What is this religion that denies this poor woman her rights? If that man had sinned and did something that affects only him self I would consider accepting that. But he distroyed another persons life and maybe took her life! If they both go to heaven without the rapist being punished either in this life or in the other life then there is no justice in christianity and I would never want to be a christian! I believe that the females I know have rights and need justice if something as horrible happens to them. I'm sorry but how can someone live with a religion that doesnt offer justice weither it was in this life or in the afterlife? Christians how do you justify that? Just throwing your sins into someone elses bucket "Jesus"?

Even though this sounds ridiculous, yes. I believe that God will reveal himself to the rape victim too. She would already have suffered enough, and I trust that God would want to heal her.

As for the rapist, if he repents and asks to be saved, he will be. God knows what he's thinking. God will know if he's really sorry for his sin, or if he's just sorry that he got caught. God will know if he is choosing God because he really wants to repent, or if he's just taking a chance and thinking, "Now that I'm a Christian, I can do whatever I want and still go to heaven."

if a kid who steals a candy bar from a store gets saved and goes to heaven, then does that mean that the employee who was fired because of it goes to hell while the thief enjoys heaven with Jesus?

yes. the bible also says that if you just look at a girl in a lustful way, God sees it as if you had already done what you are only thinking about. Are you a rapist in your heart without even knowing it?

You atheists have so little clue it's not even funny. Even you should know that according to Christianity, every one of us deserves to go to hell for the sins we commit every single day of our lives, the rapist as much as the victim. It's not even just Christianity that says this: inside, you KNOW in your own heart that you're guilty before God. Thus, ultimately, the two are on the same stand - they have both sinned. True, on this one occasion the rapist's sin is obviously very heinous and deserves to be punished - but how many other sins has the victim committed? And how can a just God let her sins go unpunished any more than his?

God's free gift of salvation is available to any person who would accept it, rapist and victim. She has just as much chance as he does to accept it as payment for her sins, but she doesn't avail herself of that gift.

I know this is more thinking than most of you are used to, but it's good for you. It may even do you eternal good. Please contact me personally if you would like to have a rational conversation about this or anything else you misunderstand about Christianity. If you just want to call me names rather than thinking, don't bother contacting me.

Who says the rape victim is not? Certainly not Jesus!

First, don't try to put blame on Christians for the choice someone else made to not accept Jesus as their Savior. We didn't make the rules, God did.

God knew man was a miserable sinner and bound for hell. That's why He sent His son Jesus, as a sacrifice on our behalf. NOBODY has to go to hell unless they CHOOSE to.

Jesus is your way out. He is waiting for you to accept His absolutely free GIFT of everlasting life.

God bless!

This is what I love about Christianity and the love of GOD.

No matter what we've done - no matter how heinous our sin - none of us...NONE of us - are unforgivable worthless human beings beyond hope or redemption or salvation or grace or mercy.

As to who goes to heaven or hell - and the hypothetical of your question - only GOD knows the answer. Even JESUS said HE did not come to judge the world but to save it.

GOD is the only one true judge...and as far as I know, HE has never asked for my help!

We all get saved by the same way = by accepting Jesus as our Lord and Savior.

Heaven is offered for everyone. If one is not in heaven, they did not choose heaven.

Yes, this is correct.

Do you remember who was next to Jesus on the cross? - And yet he made it to heaven.

Please do not be mistaken - it is not "a loophole" in the doctrine. It is a beauty of the doctrine!

Now, you do need to be saved to understand it, but Bible speaks about this as well.
