Thet say eve was cursed and god made her pay for her sins by giving women periods, making them pay that way. If thats true why would god also GIVE ANIMALS, human female animals their periods too? just another reason for proof men may have wrote the bible to control women or make them subordinate.

To the woman He said:

In pain you shall bring forth
children;

notice "In pain you shall bring forth children"
not you will have periods every month.

According to the bible God punish men and women because of what Eve and Adam did. Even though Eve was influence by the Devil, Adam was also. And the reasons why we have periods is because our bodies have to be cleanse. Every women should know this. We put this birth control medicine and other things in our body and this is God's way of cleanses it for us. I thank him because if you let something build up in your body you can die faster.

YOU need to begin by reading YOUR Bible. It was NOT an Apple that Eve ate of. The woman was subordinate to man because of her immediately following satan instead of GOD. GOD expected HIS People to listen to HIM. HE still does today and YOU will find that out at some point in your life. I hope it is not after CHRIST returns for the Judgment. Have a wonderful week.

Um, for Eve it was painful childbirth not periods or menses.
Adam was punished by having to endure painful toil.
And the serpant was cursed by having to crawl on its belly.

The Bible does not say Eve was punished with a period.
You cannot blame God and the Bible for the myths and lore you have absorbed.

There is no apple mentioned in the Bible. No I don't think periods are punishment, but the pain of childbirth is.

Obviously, "they" have never read the Bible. If "they" had, "they" would know that part of Eve's punishment was that her CHILDBEARING PAINS would be much worse.

actually it was pain in child birth. the act of the womans menstral cycle is to clean out her system for fertilization to be able to take place. BTW, many women don't have a problem with their cycle.
