It couldn't have been God, because as everybody knows, you have to obtain a marriage license to get married. Now, the bible said nothing about that, did it? I don't recall them finding Adam and Eve's marriage license with the Dead Sea Scrolls or anything else, do you? Maybe it's hanging out with the Ark, and the Ark of the Covenant, and all those other "lost" things.

Humankind invented god as a way to impose a set of morals on itself, and had god invent marriage as a way to keep everyone from having a great big orgy.

Depends on your belief.
If you believe in God, fine, God sparked the idea then.
I, not being religions, think that humankind "invented" it, and by invented I mean a caveman didn't just sit down one day and say "alright, I have this great idea to keep two people together...". It sort of came to be over time. It probably began with two people getting together and sticking together... then as the idea of "ceremonies" began to pop up, a ceremony was created for when two people come together, which was either incorporated with or inspired by religious ceremonies. It then went on from there.

marriage is the first soscial bond accepted by the society not an invention.,when it started as acceptable social lifelong relation between man and woman and to provide a home to the offspring children a home that is first building block of a society as practiced all over world in all nations colour and creed

I don't think God just decided to one day "invent" the concept of marriage. Marriage dates back to a more traditional time period, and has existed for thousands of years. In the Bible, marriage is mentioned as something that should be done between a MAN and WOMAN.
