Profess belief in Jesus as God. How exactly that is done varies from denomination to denomination, but in the one in which I was raised, you -

1. Respond to an invitation to testify by the minister while the choir sings "O Why Not Tonight?" or some similar hymn

2. Later say aloud "Jesus is Lord" and repent sins, with hands crossed to resemble buried dead . Get dunked in a baptismal font/river by minister and arise newborn

3. Continue convenant to serve by practicing thought, word and deed according to scripture.

Read Romans 10:9-10. If you can't it states that anyone that believes in their heart and confesses with their mouth that Jesus died and rose from the dead is saved. It goes on to say that if you believe this in your heart you are made right with God, and by confessing with your mouth you are saved. The big picture can also be found in John 3:16 and it says that God loved the world so much that he let his only son go down to Earth to become the utlimate sacrifice for your and my sins (things that we do wrong) and who believes this will not die spiritually.

The body that you live in now is just a shell for your spirit. When this body expires you have two places you can go. In Catholicism you have 3, but I won't get into that right now. The first place is hell, and that's where the non-believers go. Hell is a bad place where there is no relief from misery. The second place is Heaven where you live eternally with Christ. After the world is destroyed, there will be a new heaven and a new earth where you will then be.

I suggest that you go to a pastor and tell her/him that you have been thinking about what it means to be a Christian. The Pastor will ask you some questions so he will understand where you're coming from. You, of course, can ask as many questions as you wish. Then the Pastor will take you through the Word of God and show you some Scriptures that pertain to salvation. Again, you can ask any questions that you deem necessary. The object is to help you understand as much as possible. Then you and the Pastor would pray for your 'understanding' and pray that you be able to weigh the things presented to you, and bring clearity to all. If you feel you have found the answers you were looking for, you can ask Jesus in your heart right there with the Pastor. If you ask, Jesus will come. All Jesus asks of you is that you 'believe in Him'.........and when you become a Christian, all He asks is that 'you love as I have loved you.' It's really very simple. Just believe. God loves you and He's waiting for you to love Him back. God bless.

Become like Hitler.

"What we have to fight for. . . is the freedom and independence of the fatherland, so that our people may be enabled to fulfill the mission assigned to it by the Creator." [Adolph Hitler, Mein Kampf, pp. 125]

"This human world of ours would be inconceivable without the practical existence of a religious belief."
[Adolf Hitler, Mein Kampf, pp.152]

'In early Feb. of 1933, he declared in the Reichstag (parliament) that the churches were to be an integral part of German national life.' " . . .

"The National Government will preserve and defend those basic principles on which our nation has been built up. It regards Christianity as the foundation of our national morality and the family as the basis of national life."

"The Government of the Reich regards Christianity as the unshakable foundation of the morals and moral code of the nation." "The rights of the churches will not be diminished." ( froxm The Speeches of Adolph Hitler, 1922-1939, Vol. 1, pg. 369-372 (London, Oxford University Press, 1942 - edition of 1969.)

"And the founder of Christianity made no secret indeed of his estimation of the Jewish people. When He found it necessary, He drove those enemies of the human race out of the Temple of God.

to become a Christan you need to realize that you are a sinner and that because you have sinned you can't get to heaven by yourself. You need to realize that the price of sin is death.then you need to accept that Jesus Christ the son of God came in the flesh and died on the cross to pay your debt. then you need to pray to Jesus and ask him to forgive you for your sins, and wash you of your sins with his blood. then you need to read the Bible and find out what Jesus wants you to do now that you are born again.you need to turn away from sin and honestly try not to trip up . the easyiest way to learn what you should do as a christain is find a good Bible believing church and go there and ask quesations.

I would start by going to a church and seeing what they thought were essential to start calling yourself a christian. then if you agreed with them, you could either take classes and then become baptized, or you could do whatever program that church offers to become a christian.
You have to be ready to live your life differently and accept the church teachings of your chosen religion.

Back a million years ago when I was a teenager whose parents made her go to church every time the doors were open, we were told "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." Romans 10:9-10
Can't believe I remembered that after all these years.

Anyway...supposedly that's it.

"God, I know that I am a sinner. I know that I deserve the consequences of my sin. However, I am trusting in Jesus Christ as my Savior. I believe that His death and resurrection provided for my forgiveness. I trust in Jesus and Jesus alone as my personal Lord and Savior. Thank you Lord, for saving me and forgiving me! Amen!"
