Okay, and I don't mean to be disrespectful. But Mormons believe that there are lots of gods, right? And that our Father God has His own father and grandfather (and presumably brothers and sisters). That's correct, no? (If I am incorrect, please correct me). And then Jesus is His Son, right? Did I understand correctly that lucifer is also God the Father's Son? that Jesus and lucifer were/are brothers? Again, correct me if I am wrong.

What place does this leave for the Holy Spirit? Who is He in all this? So again: Questions: Father God also has parents and grandparents? Jesus and lucifer brothers? Who is the Holy Spirit and what His place in all this in your theology?

Thanks!

Does Heavenly Father have a Father, brothers & sisters, etc.?

We don't know. He never told us. From what He has told us, we deduce that maybe He does. But, since He has never said, it's obviously not something we need to worry about.

As far as teh offspring of God:

We are all the spirit "children" of our Heavenly Father. Jesus is the "eldest" and always intended to be the Saviour.

Lucifer was one, but when he rebelled, he was "disinherited". He no longer has any claim to what we can inherit. So, he is no longer a brother, or son, or anything else.

Jesus was not only His spirit "son" but also His biological Son. Somehow, Heavenly Father place His "DNA", His seed, into Mary, and she conceived Jesus. Unlike some Christians, we do not believe that Jesus was His own Father.

I'm not sure what you mean by How does the Holy Spirit fit. I don't know how He would fit. He is part of the Godhead, that's al I know.

The Holy Ghost is a member of the Godhead. He is a spirit that has the form and likeness of a man. He can be in only one place at a time, but his influence can be everywhere at the same time.

Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Ghost are called the Godhead. They are unified in purpose. Each has an important assignment in the plan of salvation. Our Heavenly Father is our Father and ruler. Jesus Christ is our Savior. The Holy Ghost is the revealer and testifier of all truth.

The Holy Ghost is our Heavenly Father's messenger and is a special gift to us. The mission of the Holy Ghost is to bear witness of the Father and the Son and of the truth of all things.

There is no complete revelation on the family of Heavenly Father. Start with what we do know. He had a son. Are parents single?

He had many sons and presumably daughters. Maybe the Bible can tell us if Lucifer was one of them Job 1: 6 Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them.

Most of what you have said are correct assumptions about Mormon theology. This kind of thing is only discussed by the inner circles of the church. The Holy spirit is considered a supreme spirit being who bring the power and wisdom of the gods (Father and Son) to human kind. Yes Jesus and Lucifer were brothers. Haven't you heard of a member of the family going bad on you?

Well first of all, Lucifer is not God's son. Jesus is God's son. God created Lucifer, who ended up rebelling in heaven and trying to overthrow the Creator through the lead of a fallen angel army.

We have what we call the "Trinity." God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. They are ONE person but play different roles in our lives. God is the Creator of the Earth (he has no parents or grandparents; he is the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end), Jesus is God's son, and the Holy Spirit is the spiritual being in our everyday lives.

The Holy Spirit is what convicts of us wrong doing. The Holy Spirit is one that empowers us to do what's right. And the Holy Spirit is the one who creates movement in our heart when we are dying for truth as the unsaved.

Polytheist means you believe in the existence of many gods; however, you may choose to worship or follow only one of them. Monotheism means you deny the existence of any other Gods except the one you worship.

Christians, Jews and Muslims are monotheists. Mormons and Pagans are polytheists.

The Bible does not say that other gods exist; it refers to other "gods" that were being worshipped at the time by different people. Anyone can make up a god.

When they say there are multiple gods, if asked what does the Bible mean there is only 1 god, they interpret it to mean the only god they serve.
