why does the grass grow to be green why not red or purple. ware did green comefrom and who picked that colour i hate that colour.

It is green because that color is the one reflected from the pigment chlorophyll inside the grass blades. There are molecules that can absorb light from the sun. They absorb only a small portion of the light spectra reflecting the rest. We see what they do not absorb as the leaf color. They reflect green and absorb blue and red light.
I'm sorry you don't care for it since it is so important to life as we know it. Without plants and their chlorophyll we wouldn't have anything to eat, especially sugar.

Because nonionizing radiation is incident upon it. If that were not so, grass would be black.
