I am from the state of Oregon, known for it's Pinot Noirs, but would really like to taste Pinots from Washington state or California...does anyone have a suggestion?

You have some great wine stores in Oregon. If you ask a friendly salesperson for a good Pinot they'll have many suggestions from Washington.
They have a vested interest in making you happy, not just selling a bottle - they want you to come back!

i love oregon pinot as well. especially king estate. california has a couple areas with good Pinot. Carneros in Napa Valley is great. I love domaine carneros winery. Also in the central coast of california, Cambria Winery is fantastic. I have also had some great luck with New Zealand. I think the last one I had was Kim Crawford.

Hartford Court 2005 Lands Edge Pinot Noir
Complex aromas of ripe cherries, violets and cedar are followed by flavors of perfectly ripe, firm black cherries, mixed red and black berries. Allspice and coffee notes complement a long, multi-faceted finish in this exciting, new Hartford Court Pinot Noir. ($44.99)
