I just took a good look at myself outside in the DAYLIGHT earlier and realized I have a moustache!!!! OMG!!!!! and noone told me!!! it's not too dark but it's very visible! how can I get rid of this? I am allergic to hot wax, so I have to pluck my eyebrows, but the idea of 'plucking' all these little hairs around my mouth does not sound like fun..... and my mom said that if I shave it it will grow back even darker and then I WILL have to shave it every day for the rest of my life!!!

But what should I do????

Plucking (tweezing), Shaving, Depilatory creams and Waxing are temporary hair removal methods. Waxing usually lasts for 3 weeks, but it is painful. Electrolysis and laser hair removal are "permanent" hair removal methods but are expensive and you have to find a trained professional, otherwise your skin could be damaged. A review of the various hair removal methods is available at http://www.hairremoval.in

I also would recommend the Threading Technique at a local salon. Hair removal cream works, and so does shaving it. I have done that for years. I am a brunette, and mine doesn't really come back darker, or more wirey, it just comes back. Permanent hair removal is the only way to not have it grow again, so I understand.

What I use is Nair upper lip creme. Just dab it on your 'stache and wait for 10 minutes and rub it off with a washcloth. It's not wax, it's a thick cream. You can find it at Target amongst all the nair products. They also have a formula for a sensitive upper lip.

tweezing is one option but u can also buy a shaver that has many lil tweezers inside and will do the work for u...also u can use special bleach products to lighten the hairs or use nair or u can use ready to go wax that isnt needed to be microwaved

heres a website that talks about the lil machine with the tweezers...

Your Mom is right. I had a friend that ended up shaving hers and over a matter of years it did get worse. She ended up going for lasor hair removal. She hasn't had any more problems as far as I know and it looks great!

I use Sally Hansen facial hair bleach. It's pretty cheap and it lasts for awhile. It turns my "moustache" blonde, and you can't see it. It's not painful either! = ]

I just use tweezers, although it is a slow process. There is too much to remove, so I try to take away what is most obvious (to me).
