F D & C approved colors. Yellow #5, Yellow #11, Orange # 4,Red # 4, Blue # 1, Green # 6, etc., etc.Minute amounts are used, so disappear in use.

My guess is that the surface of a liquid is more reflective than what's under the surface, and since bubbles are mostly surface they tend to reflect and scatter all colours fairly evenly - thus a mass of bubbles will appear to be white.

Well,, in the 9 th grade ART class,I remember,,we mixed all of our colors,,,,,,,,,WE GOT WHITE!! I was very surprised.
