SEx is more than just a physical act.
Did you know that your spirits intertwine too?
Not just blood and sweat...salt and what not...
but spirits.
That is why breaking up hurts ...long after the story ends.
Marriage isn't about a piece of paper or the legal ceremony.
In the old days, if you had sex, you were married.
that's all it took.
so you have been married and divorced several times over.
wink.
Thing is, it's just a matter of what feels good at the moment,
right...or an excuse to help escape the loneliness
and depression that fills your heart when you are alone.
thing is, God promises, if you delay what feels good...
if you live the way he designs,
not only will you enjoy the sex more...
but the loneliness will evaporate, and you won't ever
feel that depression again.
Dont' you think it is worht a month a year or two...
for a forever solution, instead of a few weeks of
pleasure that never really satisfies, never really
blots out the emptiness???
I know, you are just 18...
but have you watched Two and 1/2 men this week?
Charlie after an endless string of one night stands...
is left feeling empty and jaded over it all,
and incapable of really having a true relationship...
because he only dated easy girls...he has no way to
bridge to a "decent" moral one...and is left alone....
just as there is more to life than food,
and more to life than music or movies....
there is more to life than sex...
you don't agree now, but give it time...
I found it out by the time I turned 25...and
I was a virgin at age 23...so go figure....
three years to figure it out...God's ways rock,
and he has more instore than we can ever imagine.
Ther eis a great article on MSN,
about how sometimes porn is ruining real life sex...
in that the more you watch, and the sicker the porn,
the less actual sex gets you hot or even pleases you...
the same way that cocaine alters your brain,
so that nothing is good enough except more coke,
so too the dirtier your exploits...the less able you are
to enjoy normal, fun stuff...and it changes your brain...
the less you get out their and get dirty, the better off you are,
mentally, physically and emotionally.
but there's not one to prove it...you have to live it...
unfortuneately...that means you also have to regret it,
if you didn't have great role models.
I will keep you in thoughts, and hope for your success.
hugs. love and realtionships are worth it, if only for the fact
that you don't end up 50 years old and taking yourself
to the hospital...more than that, though, you really gain
a teammate, someone to help you through the rough times
and to celibrate the victories...you against the world...
what's wrong with any of that???

You don't have to give up sex, just wait until you are married. You're at the time where you are dating and will probably be married in the next couple of years. God believes that as a united man and woman, you should definitely have sex! It's a healthy thing to do and you are both happy. But just be absent from it until you are wed. Just think of it this way, totally less chance of STDs and pregnancies!!!

you can still have sex and be a Christian. We are taught to be married first as Christian. Love is actually what is better to strive for and being married to someone whom you love makes it so much better. Then you can still be a Christian and have as much sex as you want with your spouse.

There's nothing wrong with sex. Just don't overdo it. It is then just a matter of tradition where the limit stands.

Of course you can have sex, that's how we have children. We fall in love, we get married, we have children.

God created Eve for that purpose, bearing children was part of God's judgment to women.
God gave us sexual appetites but we have to satisfy it with God given boundaries by matrimony.
Thus saith the LORD in Proverbs:
Proverbs 5
14I was almost in all evil in the midst of the congregation and assembly.
15Drink waters out of thine own cistern, and running waters out of thine own well.
16Let thy fountains be dispersed abroad, and rivers of waters in the streets.
17Let them be only thine own, and not strangers' with thee.
18Let thy fountain be blessed: and rejoice with the wife of thy youth.
19Let her be as the loving hind and pleasant roe; let her breasts satisfy thee at all times; and be thou ravished always with her love.
20And why wilt thou, my son, be ravished with a strange woman, and embrace the bosom of a stranger?
21For the ways of man are before the eyes of the LORD, and he pondereth all his goings.
22His own iniquities shall take the wicked himself, and he shall be holden with the cords of his sins.
23He shall die without instruction; and in the greatness of his folly he shall go astray.
You must love the LORD with all your heart, soul, mind and strength. If you love him you must keep His commandments and it is also for your own good.
John 14:15
If ye love me, keep my commandments.
If you keep on denying God and hold on to your lifestyle, these verses are for you...
1John 2
15Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
16For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.
17And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.
