Sounds like your doubting your salvation. Have you done something wrong? If you have ask the Lord to forgive you.
Sometimes when I feel like that, I try to get closer to the Lord
by praying and allowing the Holy spirit to search my heart.
If the Holy spirit does not find anything then He feels me with
His peace. But if there is sin I can feel His conviction and
this leads me to ask for His forgiveness.
Draw close to God !!!!

This is the Problem with being a Spirit living in a Body and you have a Soul too!
Once that Spirit is Recreated by Accepting Jesus as your Saviour, you would Really, Really have to Accomplish some Things in the Spiritual Realm (befor you could even Commit the Unpardonable Sin) and then Try Real Hard to get on the Road to Hell again.
It Really is Hard to Lose your Salvation AFTER you have been Saved.
But, Feelings of "I ain't Saved anymore, I am scared of going to hell" can be Readily Supplied by your Soul if you don't Stay in the Word of GOD (read you Bible) and Pray, go to services etc.
You Soul is surrounded by the Enemy of GOD 24-7 and the devils like to put these "LOST--I'm a goner" Feelings (firey darts from hell, the devils) into Children of GOD who fall back into sin (not Lost, just sinning) and fall away from GOD's Presence. It is Scary, but untill you Learn (Renew your Soul to the Word of GOD---what GOD has Really Said) and keep those Thoughts and Feelings out of your Soul, you will Fall for it alot.
GOD Still Loves HIS Kids when they go Wrong.
Regular ole' sins like murder, stealing, drunkeness, being gay, fornication so on--are not the Unpardonable Sin.
Hebrews 6:4,5,6 is the Unpardonable Sin.
(you have to Accomplish 5 things befor you can even Commit it).
Confess your sins and get Back to GOD---your not a Goner!
Hope this helps!
Up, Up and Away some Day!

whenever you are in doubt,
sit down and pray to God, meet with him...
set out an empty chaior and really have a conversation
with him the way you would talk to a father or friend
if they were in the room with you.
1) God loved us while we were sinners, still dirty...
2) Love is not earned, and cannot be lost.
3) it is your sincerity of heart, and the actions
that stem from the blessing he gives that will show
the fruit of your slavation.
4) once granted, salvation is forever...treasures and rewards
are another story.
Just remember, when some one is adopted,
there is a court hearing, papers are signed,
and stamped...things are official.
You - once you accept God's terms - are adopted.
He doesn't ever null and void that.
But you know, just like ungreatful kids,
who get discipline and grounded and what not,
when we disobey his will or get too selfish,
he will jerk our chain back and remind us
just how powerful, majestic, and mighty he is.
If he asks you to do something - remember it is for
your own good. If he asks you to stop doing something,
again it is foryour own good.
Like a warning form the surgeon general, we have a choice
to either keep smoking or to stop buying cigarettes.
So too, when God asks us or tells us...it is our choices.
Now, mind and spirit are two separate things.
Spirit is unquestionablly saved, new creation...having
God's DNA implanted and growing in it...
made new and whole, alive and no longer dead...
aware and alert, no longer drunk or asleep...
but our minds...well, they like glittering things,
they are still lazy, wanting to take short cuts,
they still doubt, still plot and plan asking
"What's in it for me?"
trouble only comes when our minds rebel against the spirit.
and it happens more than we wish...becaues the things of God do not make logical sense in this world.
But you will find trusting in him is like having a hundred
angels on your personal staff...just listen to love,
and know it is wins over darkness every time.
You can email me...if you want...but I hope you realize by now.
You are saved once you confess and believe. and nothing
done or said will undo that...it is a seed planted
and incorruptible. Nothing God plants ever withers
or fades away, what he plants has enough force
to grow and reproduce..and become a great harvest.
Jesus talked of the grains of a mustard seed,
and just think...something so small grows to harbor
birds and sustain many...so too, the sseds of God's
salvation may seem small, (easy to say and believe)
but will produce fruit that will feed and sustain many...
hugs to you.

A lot of us start our relationship with God with a wrong perspective and then we get tired or weary when our expectations of God don't come to pass.
Now if you ask any one the question; "Why do you not want to go to hell?" The most obvious answer is, so I don't suffer.
David recorded in the book of Psalms a very interesting perspective;
Psalm 30:9 - "What profit is there in my blood (death), if I go down into the pit (hell)? Shall the dust praise you? Shall it declare your truth?"
David is saying, "If I go to hell who will give you glory?"
Most Christians have a very "people centered" mind set when they open the Bible. They rarely open the Bible and ask, "What does God get out of this scripture?" or "How can I give God the glory from this?"
Take a step back and look at your relationship with God. Pray and ask the Holy Spirit (our guide & reveler) to help you.
About your faith; the Bible says that "Faith comes by hearing, hearing by the word of God" - Romans 10:17
Keep reading the Bible with the God Centered perspective and your faith level will increase, and ask the Holy Spirit to guide you and help you.
Hope this helps!

if you believe that Jesus Christ died for you sins on the cross you can be shore of your salvation if you keep Gods commandments. we know that even as Christan's we some times trip up because we are still humans Jesus isn't just going to through you out because you tripped up if you are repetitive when you do and truly try not to. some people think that they can ask Jesus forgiveness then go on living life the way they want then get into heaven but i think God clearly states that we are not to live in sin we need to turn away from sin.

We are praying for Our dear Holy Spirit to inspires Our Wonderful Holy Father to make some loving good laws as its will get all Roman Catholic to be true Soldiers of Jesus Christ as its will stopped the crimes either small or large against the Holy Eucharist at Holy Communion. Pope Benedict XVI understands this as he only giving holy Communion kneeling and on the tongues. Blessed Be God

Well, assurance of salvation is a given if you have been born again. I cannot address that for you.
Sounds like you need to get back into the Word:
Rom 10:17 So then faith [cometh] by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
Hbr 10:22 Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.

Doubts are normal for one who knows the truth. Doubts are not normal for one who believes a lie. Please read Hannah Whiteall Smith's, "The Christian's Secret of a Happy Life". It will encourage you to believe the Word despite your feelings. Feelings are untrustworthy. I just shake my head at the pharisee saying that a real believer is always 100% sure. That is pure nonsense. Of course faith is tested to strengthen our faith. John the Baptist whom Jesus said was the greatest Prophet ever, had a test of faith to which the Lord told his followers to tell him, blessed is he that doesn't stumble because of Him [Christ]. If John the Baptist had doubts, trust me, so do we as we learn to walk with God. How many times did the Lord rebuke his own followers by telling them they lacked faith and were hard hearted? Another thing, now that doubts are attacking, you are not as confident. Good. This will turn for your good as you learn to seek the Lord in earnest and learn from him what he requires. Start reading his word daily. Five minutes a day if you hate to read or are pressed for time. Five minutes.

I suggest that you go back and look at the facts. Don't rely on feeling - feelings can't be trusted. Ask yourself these questions:
*Do I believe in God?
*Do I believe Jesus is the Son of God?
*Do I believe in Jesus?
*Do I believe Jesus died for me?
*Do I believe He rose from the dead and now sits at
the right hand of the Father?
*Did I ask Jesus into my heart to be my Savior and Lord?
If you answer yes to these questions, then you are born-again and a child of God. Jesus is your Savior. The Bible says that 'nothing' can take you from Jesus' hand. Not even any sin that you might have committed. You see, Jesus has covered 'all' your sins (past, present, future). He gave His life to redeem you.
You say you are dealing an 'attitude' right now. Jesus says for us to 'Draw near to him and he will draw near to us." He also says, "Come, let us reason together." He says, "Come boldly to the Throne." In other words, don't be afraid to go to Him and speak truthfully - He'll listen. If you are trapped in a sinful state, so to speak, confess it all to Jesus. Just tell Him about it. Talk to him. Tell him your weakness, tell Him your fears.... tell it all! Then pray for strength to overcome the temptations that you face. Pray for your 'critical spirit' - or bad attitude. Ask God to 'nudge' you when you're about to break His laws.... and you take responsibility for yourself and stop!! The more you turn away from wrong, the easier it gets. When you go out - say, "Come on Jesus, go with me!" Be aware, if you ask Him to come, He will! This is no game. You're walking with the Holy Father - the one who laid down His life for you. Be a good child and walk in His steps and you won't get in trouble. If I were you, I wouldn't go anywhere without inviting Him along. There is always 'hope' when you're walking with Jesus. Hope for a better life here on earth. But rest assured, dear one, your citizenship is also in Heaven with our Creator God. Your Savior and Lord, Jesus the Christ, has sealed that for you. Now accept the facts___, and stop messing with feelings. Feelings change by the monment. Jesus is the same, yesterday, today, and tomorrow. There's your hope!

The apostle John wrote, "These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may continue to believe in the name of the Son of God." (1 John 5:13)
How do we know we have eternal life? This verse says it is by the things written! To know you have eternal life, compare the things you believe and practice to the scriptures!
1 John 1:7 says, "But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin."
How do you have assurance of salvation? By knowing where you are walking!
If you "walk in the light" (the light of the things written in the scriptures), then you have fellowship with other Christians, and Christ's blood cleanses you from sin.
If you stop walking in the light, you have stepped out of fellowship and away from the cleansing blood.
To have assurance of salvation, search the scriptures and pattern your life after them! Examine the things written and know where you are walking in relationship to them!
