You have amazing ability to burn food, high metabolism.

Then again you could be diabetics.......too much sugar in the system causes weight loss. BUT since you are NOT complaining of being thirsty, peeing a lot, dizzy, etc then you probably DON'T have diabetes.

Start laying off the sugar and concentrate on real food. Pay attention to the complex carbohydrates like multigrain products, whole milk, nuts. Try to eat just 3 times a day. Frequent eating tends to keep the metabolism pumped up.

Realize this is just you. Since your mother is this way, looks like you've inherited the physical frame from her.

Its your metabolism.

I'm constantly overweight and I walk 3 miles a day and eat reasonably well!

Think yourself lucky... it means that you burn energy a lot faster than you absorb it... basically you can eat whatever you like with practically no health probelms.

Of course if you are still quite young then you will probably find that your metabolism will slow down a lot over the next 5-6 years

you just have a fast metabolism and you should be eating more carbs if you want to gain weight and protien, you are probaly malnutrited if you are just eating Junk Food, you can also talk to a doctor about your options. You also might have an over active thyroid...usually increases metabolism whereas an under active thryroid decreases metabolism.

Because you have to eat healthy food, not junk food. Eat food rich in protein, not fat and start actively doing some sport. The best goal is trying to gain muscle mass.

Don't complain. I am the same way. Just considere your self lucky. However, you might want to establish some healthier eating habits just in case. But yeah.. junk food is the best!

Well for one, when you eat junk food, you just add fat to your belly mostly, not the rest as much. To gain weight you should eat whole grains, nuts, etc.
Also, why do you want to gain weight? You are fine the way you are.

Everyone's body is different, some people are blessed with fast metabolisms (the "thing" that burns calories), others are cursed with slow ones.

the reason why you dont gain weight is because of your matabolism. or whatever.

you should try eating more bread.
and consume more calories.

the only way ice cream makes your fat
is if you constantly eat it
and you dont exercise and your like to lay aroudn
and your matabolism is really slow.

because you either have a over active thyroid gland, or a fast body motabalism which dosnt allow much of the food to be absorbed by your body.
