I don't know why he's so angry. It may be that he's justified. I just wish he didn't sound like such an idiot. I'm a veteran and largely disagree with the government on a lot of things too but he sounds like he's anti-American. Some of his statements are pure B.S. He makes it sound like we go around knocking off poor defenseless countries just so we can throw our weight around. He also made a remark about the "racist treasonous rebels" of the civil war. I'd like him to cite what law(s) they broke to be charged with treason. Jefferson Davis was never charged with a crime related to treason or succession for that matter. I'd also like to hear where he thinks the south acquired most of their slaves. Who supplied the slaves to the south? My hunch is mister mtmeggido has no idea because the extent of his knowledge was acquired in some backwater school where he got no education but an indoctrination into political correctness. I would guess he has NO IDEA what the civil war was about, why it was fought or who really won. The same is most likely true with the rest of the B.S. he spouts. Its frequently obvious that he has no firm grasp of the facts on most of the subjects he blathers on about. There's an old saying...Its better to keep your mouth shut and let people think you're stupid rather than open your mouth and remove all doubt.

Probably because he isn't even in any branch of the Military and he is just one of those little emo punks who attends anti-war demonstrations with a bandanna over his face like a wimp trying to stir controversy.

Because ignorant people like him think that everything the media says is true. My husband is in Iraq right now, and he says things are so much better than they were in 2003 when the invasion began. My husband was in Fallujah in November 2004 for Operation Phantom Fury as well, so he saw it when it was really bad. Progress is being made, but the media doesn't want to show that because that doesn't bring in the ratings.

I'm guessing he has serious gender identification issues, was disqualified for service because they wouldn't let him wear the female dress blues or that he was only bottle fed. Whatever the reason, he's a moron.

i was about to ask the same question......i ask a simple question, and i get an answer that was just totally irrelevant. i just got out of the military, my husband is currently deployed and my son is in jrotc.....i am proud to have served, and proud of both of them and everyone else who had the guts to raise their hand and take the oath of enlistment.

I'd be pretty outraged too every time I thought about US soldiers getting killed in Iraq FOR NOTHING.
What a waste. Horrible.
Why aren't you all outraged?
PS: Personal outrage is no excuse to abuse others however, but you can certainly challenge their BS.
PPS: Don't ask US soldiers if things are better in Iraq, ask Iraqis. They don't get to go home and eat ice cream.
