I presume you mean "lymph node." That is what a lot of people call "glands in the neck." They are nodules in the lymphatic system which collect and confine abnormal materials from nearby, such as infection or cancer cells.

Lymph nodes are the filtering portion of the lymphatic system. They contain lymphocytes which destroy bacteria and viruses in the blood. When infection is present the lymph nodes swell. When referring to cancer, lymph node involvement (the presence of cancerous cells in a lymph node) is used to evaluate the extent of the disease and predict whether or not it has or will metastasize (spread.) Since lymph circulates throughout the body, cancerous cells within the lymph can travel to other organs and infect them.

you mean lymph node.
it's one of the components of lymphatic system, system that fight infections against our body. One function of lymph node is filtering the lymph before it is being returned to the blood stream.

correct thing ur looking for is limphnode. we have it everywhere in out body, it is what part of our defense system.
