God is the same...we are not...God teaches us line upon line precept upon precept. It is like when you have young children...you tell them to stay away from the stove...as they get older...you teach them kitchen safety and finally teach them how to cook. You are still the same parent...but the child has grown and been given more responsibility...where once it wasn't possible for the child to understand the hazards of the stove...the older child understands the dangers and is able to obey the rules regarding the stove to create delicious foods...well that is the hope at least.
Same with Man...Where we once needed everything spelled out and our hands slapped for doing those things that we shouldn't...we are now responsible for our actions...including our repentance.
God is the Father, Jesus is the Son, The Holy Ghost is the Testifier...they are ONE in purpose, glory, work, and authority...to bring to pass the immortality and eternal life of man.

Why then do you not practice the Mosaic Law?
Answer: The Law of Moses had two parts civial and ritual laws. The civial law contain the Ten Commandments, Statutes and Jufgements and they are still to be keep today. If Jesus did away with the law or nailed it to the cross we don't need to repent of any because sin is defined in the Bible as transgressonof the law(1John 3:4). The law is still inaffect. When Jesus died He redeemed us from the penality of the law i.e death(Rom 6:23). The law is to be kept today.
Why then do you not make Animal Sacrifices to The Lord?
Answer: When God brought Israel out of Eygpt He DID not command them to sacrifice or burnt offerings(Jer 7:22). Animal Sacrifices were added because Israel kept breaking God's law(Gal 3:19). It showed that sin brings death(Rom 6:23) . It was a shadow of Jesus Christ sacrifice (Gal 3:19)

God is the same.....but When Jesus came (and died and was resurrected) THINGS changed.
The Apostle Paul wrote:
Galatians 3:24-26.
So then, the law was our guardian until Christ came, in order that we might be justified by faith. But now that faith has come, we are no longer under a guardian, for in Christ Jesus you are all sons of God, through faith.
(ESV)
That just about sums it up.....but here is a website I found for you which goes into more detail regarding the 3 parts of Mosaic Law and why we are no longer bound by it.
I hope it helps clear some things up.

because the Mosaic law was in place only to forgive people of there sins until the ultimate sacrifice came which was Jesus. After that there was no longer any reason to sacrifice animals.
god is not a trinity the whole water thing only proves water is a trinity now now prove that god is a trinity.

This is an easy question. One mankind sucks and has the option not to listen to God and do what ever we want. Two at this stage in the world God better have some grand plan because honestly I give the world 100-200 years before a world wide nukular war. And three and most important if push comes to shove Chuck Norris and Mr.T will "speak to god, personally."

If God is the same yesterday, today, and forever, then how was he once a man and now a God?
Why didn't the Temple in Jerusalem have an endowment room or perform sealings?
Why didn't Peter have a Presiding Bishopric? Why doesn't the LDS Church today have an Assistant President of the Church or a Presiding Patriarch, or a Council of Fifty?

Gentile believers never were under Mosaic law, ever. Jesus is the fulfillment of the law. He said, "love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul and mind, and love your neighbor as yourself; in these two, are all the laws and the prophets fulfilled".
I don't understand your "trinity" question at all....sorry.

God is the same, but with humans He can't suddenly dump a whole revelation. It came by stages. I find the New Testament a lot more morally elevating than the Old Testament - better sentiments and standards are given, and the behaviour of Jesus and the apostles is better (once they were established in their faith) than the the Old Testament.

The entire book of Hebrews says that anyone that was saved in the Old Testament, was saved by faith in the coming of the Savior for sins. Read Hebrews 11 for the truth that only faith saves, then and now. The OT law was a temporary picture of the truth, always planned to be done away with.

I think that you have really made some great statements and questions. But part of being a "Christian", is having faith. Faith is your "tie" (if you will) to Christ. I'm sorry that I don't have some blow you away answers. However Jesus had to be a Jew, he couldn't "save" himself. He was here for us.
