no dogs to not hibernate, however wolves in the cold climates in the snowy weather, will dig themselves a hole under the snow and stay in there for days at a time before coming out to eat, this is not hibernation. dogs need to eat regularilly, so no they do not hibernate

no because they are not even in the same family as animals that do hibernate

maybe not hibernate, but mine sleeps 16 hours a day.

haha! If you are lucky and get a mellow dog, then the answer is all day. Most dogs lay around all day, eat, go to the bathroom and do it all over again. Must be nice. :)

My chihuahua doesn't like to be cold. When she gets on my bed she borrows under my bedding and stays there for hours and comes out in the morning!
