Everyone is different so i dont think there is going to be one right answer for this. Personally, at least for me, I think depression is something that I will have to live with for the rest of my life. I have much more control over it now and I know my limits and dont do more than i know i can handle, but those depression type thoughts still cross my mind from time to time. I am just better abled to control them now. So i would say you have overcome your depression whe you are able to control those negative thoughts, get up out of bed and actually have a good day on a consistant basis. Hope that helps!

good question.
When you can concentrate on things, and want to do things and not lay around all the time or see the down side of things all the time, maybe your coming out of it.

I wouldnt know. have had depression for 25 years. not good.
rough some days I tell ya.
