Are you serious??? This is like asking how to design a product or make a product.

It's a massive, massive area. What product are you selling? What is the market and what is its demographic? Where are you selling it? How much are you selling it for? What is the market position of the product? What is the branding strategy? Who are the competition?

Ask some questions, and you shall find your answers.....

it depends on what you are selling. you wouldn't sell barbie dolls to a room full of grandfathers, for ie. so you need to match the product with the market. find if there is a need for the product. no need, then no need to sell. Then work on pricing, and how to distribute the product. check to see if the money you'll spend will be returned in the expected sales. if not, don't waste your time.

I'm guessing your question is "How can I persuade somebody to want what I'm selling?"

The trick is to reverse your train of thought. You are asking customers: "How can I persuade you to want what I have?"

Instead, ask customers: "What do you need and want?"

For example, if they tell you, "I want/need a leather couch"...go out and find a leather couch and ask them how much they would be willing to pay for it. And then get paid.

Surprise, you made a sell!

Then go to another person and do the same thing. Rinse and repeat.

Depends on the product. Ebay is one way to do it. Also, friends and family. Word of mouth is priceless.
