On Meerkat Manor, what is that thing around Flower's neck?

The thing looks like a barrel or something. Could it be a camera?

It's a radio transever(sp?) That way they can track her movements. Now that Flower is gone. Rocketdog has one one her neck. Because where the Dominant female goes so does the family.

did you not hear flower died due to a cobras bite . she suffered for many hrs untill she died . It was a very sad episode . i cried for hrs after i watched .
