Absolutely, I have a 19 year old if you are interested, but she is very high maintenance.

Why? Because they are human beings and should have the same rights as anyone else.

Absolutely. i am a 13 year old and i feel lucky enough to be raised with the belief that love in any form is good. Personally, i would much rather be in a home with people who love, support, and care for me than in an impoverished country or an orphanage. Everyone deserves the right to love and give love, and this relationship allows both the gay couple and children to do so. Although, as some previous people mentioned, it may be hard at times for other to understand or accept, we should not worry about other opinions, when what we are doing is happy and we know is good.

Yes of course they should! Gay or not gay couples might experience love and commitement more that us straight people do!And Love is a blessing tha no child cannot understand or feel....... So many straight couple s have children just to see them suffering in a bad familly etc!! Love is all human need! When their children grow up, they might decide what they want for themselves!! In the meantime they can enjoy as kids a loving enviroment, sometimes made by two people of the same sex>>>

Yes, but should Christians be allowed to adopt?

Gay couples should not be allowed to adopt children for they bring slavery to the child's live with all the nasty ideas and things they have inside. It is too confusing for the child and makes him have a hard childhood for he will be made fun of and will not be able to do things regular kids can.

For example How can a boy play football if he has two mom's or how can a girl learn about her period if he has two dads?

Both parents in a marriage (man and wife) play a major role in a kids life for it prepares them for life.

for What kind of advice will two dad's give a little girl is having boy problems?

By nature gays can't have children and their is a reason for that so by nature they should not be able to adopt.

Nothing against them, but everyone needs their mothers love and everyone needs their fathers security.

if the kid wants to be gay when he grows up then that is his persanol choice, but his right to having a normal family should not be taken from him.

no rights should be taken from any human.

I definitely believe that any loving couple should be allowed to adopt. People that are immature enough to think that being gay is "gross," or that children need both sexes to grow up right (what about single parents?) are the types of people that shouldn't be able to adopt.

Children should have the right to grow up in a loving, non-discriminatory household, regardless of the sexual orientation of their parents.

yes because: they have the same rights as any other person of adopting a child. straight couples who can't have babies can adopt, gay coulpes obviously can't have babies, so why not let them adopt...?!?!!?!??

then, there's also what everyone would say of why not: kid may grow up thinking that's the way to be in a relationship, guy with guy and girl with girl.....

but to that i would say: if the parents teach them, that they don't have to be like that necessarily, then there's no problem... anyway, straight couples don't always do a perfect job at raising their children.... maybe since gay couples are gonna be dissed all the time about raising a child, the'll probably do even better to prove everyone wrong. but that's only my little opinion!!! hope this helps!!! : )

I don't see how the parents' sexuality has anything to do with it. They are not going to 'turn' their children gay just by being gay themselves. It has no bearing on the love, commitment, and sense of family that a child is raised with. I have seen straight couples be far more detrimental to a child's physical and emotional well being than a homosexual person could ever dream of being. Unless the couple also happen to be pedophiles, sexuality has nothing to do with the raising of a child. That general rule also applies to hetero couples, though is far more over-looked than anyone would care to think about. To actually answer the question, of course they should.

Yes. I believe gays make as good parents as heterosexuals, if not better. Plus, It may help keep the number of unadopted children down to a minimum. Fundamentalists are so stupid when they oppose gay marriage, not realizing it could help their fight against abortion. Christian fundies always say put the child up for adoption instead of aborting, but don't care what happens to the children after adoption, at least it seems that way. Those children could be adopted by gay couples.

hmm i don't know if i want my child being raised by a gay couple if i die or something happens God forbid. What if my child grows up and follows in the gay couples steps? I wouldn't be ok with that...

Why not??

They are loving, generous people. They would make fine parents. And, with the state the foster system is in, this isnt such a bad idea... Currently, we have so many children in foster care that they really dont check up on them all that often. Being an investigator, Ive often seen the poor take on several foster children - all for the extra income that they get for "Caring" for the children. Problem is, they dont care for the children - the kids grow up in squalor and are taught how to cheat the system themselves.

Id rather see a loving gay couple raise a child than a criminal who simply wants a few more dollars each month to support their crack habit.
