I've found Memorex (mostly at Radio Shack) to be quite good. I've found TDK to be really bad (like 1 in 4 tends to be bad burn).

Also stay away from store brands and no name (little known) brands. It may burn correctly but I've found them (no names) to lose data within few months to years.

Good Luck.

The quality of the actual photo's is the same regardless, however you should try and stay away from non branded discs (ones with no label just plain white)

I tend to stick to datawrite and bulkpak as these have very few issues when coming to view files in other computers or appliances... the golden rule is not to go for the cheapest always a mid way brand or expensive if your wallet will allow you!

Consider this: In five or ten years, will there be a computer that can read a CD or DVD? I remember when the 5.25 floppy was king and then the 3.25 floppy. When was the last time you saw a computer that could recover data from them?

I usually go to Jessops and they transfer pictures from sd card onto cd, no problems so far.

the quality of the cd shouldn't matter. As lng as you use a high megapixel camera u shoulg get good quality pics (i recommend a minimum of 3.5 megapixels). The more megapixels the better.
