I don't attend church because I'm a gay atheist.
What would it take for me to attend, hm? Well, I suppose if my husband or daughters wanted to try it one time I would come along with them.

I am 50 years old and had been in church 3 and 4 times a week since I was a baby. About 9 years ago, I started loosing interest in attending church services. I don't know but maybe I just got burned out. It did seem that the sermons and services were like watching the same reruns on TV over and over again.
I'd actually like to get started back to church if I could find one with some interesting people and a pastor that isn't too boring...LOL...Blessings!

I am not a Christian, but I attended a Unitarian Universalist church for a while. It was nice. Everyone there seemed like very good, caring people.
I don't go to any churches as of now, though.
I just don't see much of a need to these days.
Most churches are full of people that just don't give a crap about anyone or anything.

I do believe in the Great Spirit. I do not attend church, because the preach what they think you should do. I beleive in doing what the great Spirit would prefer me to do.
People who go to church are hypicrictal. expample
I lived with my husband before we were marreid, My ex-sister-in-law who was a Sunday school teacher, said I wsa commiting a sin, so why was she doing the same thing?
And since when did churches start sending out bills, because you didn't put enough in the plate?
And why would a preacher turn his back on you, because of books (white witch craft). The books use the names of God Jesus, Adam and Eve.
The Herbs they want used are the same as in the Bible.
Even the stones are in the Bible.
I am not allowed to bring harm unto others, but to help them. And nothing is done without the persons consent.
I'll keep to my ways, and I am a peace with myself.

It is a big waste of time and money. I was sent to church every Sunday when I was a child, but I saw errors in the Bible at age 7. I was forced to attend by my parents. When I grew big and stong enough to kick Dad's butt, I quit going. There is nothing that can make me do useless things and things I hate. I will go to church the same day I go to a baseball game, watch Oprah on TV, watch an Adam Sandler or a Will Ferrell movie, etc.

I don't attend church because I'm an atheist.
I guess it would take a total change in my belief system and faith in order for me to attend any type of church or religious service as a regular attendee.

Sadly, churches is where ppl get deceived & bewitched.
Been there, did that; Never looking back to their law law.
What the Spirit saith "unto the churches" is in Galatians.
Eg: Galatians 3: the law is not of faith.
Eg: Galatains 4: it's all allegory in both covenants
Eg: Galatians 5: if justified by law, then fallen from grace
Repeating Law is Law Law.
His Grace is NOT Law Law.
The GRACE of our Lord Jesus Christ with you all. Amen.

I am Christian, and I do believe in God and Jesus, I don't attend church out of pure laziness. However, I do fully appreciate my life and feel that living by the Golden Rule a good practice. I also feel that people are entitled to believe in their religion however they want to, without fear of reprisal.
