You could start out by getting a GED, or go to Job Corps. You could use the diploma to get a job that doesn't have much interaction (office job?).
If I could suggest going for a walk for thirty minutes a day to burn energy that you might otherwise use worrying about something (I know this sounds out there, but this works for me, and this is really the only explanation I come up with to tie it together, lol.)
Definently talk to a doctor about anti-anxiety medication.

about 5 years ago, I started to fall into a really depressive episode. At first I thought it was only because I had a bad break from a relationship but the feelings wouldn't go away even after I got a new girlfriend. It was wrecking my life until a point where it was seriously affecting my work and personal life.
She was very worried but at the same time couldn't understand why I was still sad and thought that I still couldn't let go of my previous relationship. Being the wonderful person that she is, she put aside her feelings and suggested I go for psychiatric evaluation. Many months later and even more anti-depressants, I was not coming close to being better at all.
After doing some research online, I found out the real cause as you described it really makes a lot of sense and purchased this program. The results were simply astonishing. I read this book over three times and put all words in action. Using this method, I've kept my depression at bay ever since. Up to date I'm still living happily with my girlfriend.

God this is so me. I just want you to know your NOT alone. I am still going through this. I hate going out in public because I alllways feel like people are looking at me and judging me. I just want you to know It will get better. I am getting better. This has been going on for the last 4 years with me. It is hard and It is hard to overcome. but you can beat it. Try slowly going out for a 10 minute walk just to get the feel of things. I know most people don't understand this fear, only because they don't experience it. and then they think it doesnt exist. Well I'm proof that it does. I also suffer from severe depression. I find writing down my feelings help in a HUGE way. I also cook when I get super bored. bake or something. Do what makes oyu happy. or what once made you happy. I know it's not easy but you are the creator of your destiny. You have to believe its going to get better. Try new things. Wear bright colors. When you feel good pelple around you feel good as well. :) always remember if things were always peachy keen we'd having nothing to compare to the good. and believe things will get better. :) best wishes and heres a HUGE ((HUG))

The first thing you need to do is talk to a dr about this and maybe get on some meds. I know thats prolly the last thing you want to hear, because it was the last thing i wanted to hear when i was going through it too, but its the first step to getting better. You arent the only one in the world who feels like this and you can get better! You are still young and have your whole life ahead of you! Its not something that can be fixed overnight...its going to take time and you are going to have to work hard for it, but there are people who can and WANT to help you...just let them.

Have you ever thought of maybe getting some medication. Its not as bad as you think. I was in your shoes when i was in elementary and middle school. I was always afraid of what people thought of me and could never keep a job. I resently got on paxil, and it has made such a difference in my life, i smile more and don't worry about the thinks that used to bother me, i had no life or friends, now im liked by everyone. you are too young to be feeling that way. I would try it, it will make you feel alive again. GOOD LUCK!

I have read some litterature about panic attacks. But they allways seem to have a more scientific approach and that is nothing I need in my struggle to survive those horrible panic attacks. This is a "hand on" and very practical book. I felt it was written to me. I am sure that you are going to feel the same.
Joe Barry writes exactly how I think. The examples are perfectly described. And the method is genius. I recommend this book and thanks Joe Barry for writing it. It changes your life

i would recommend going to a family doc and getting a Rx for an anti-depressant and also seeking out therapy. there are ways to cope with the anxiety and the meds will help balance your brain.

You're not the only one. I was like that when I was 19. It gets better if you do something about it. Go see a psychologist.

go see your doctor so they can recommend a therapist you can talk to. you are definitely not the only one going thru this. I would also recommend exercise as a form of therapy. definitely see a doctor asap to get your life back on track. good luck!
