Because they haven't invented a disposable Scanning Electron Microscope Disposable Camera yet!

You neglected to vacuum it up with the mites. They are notoriously shy. Try taking the picture inside the dust bag next time. You'll be surprised at the level of detail you will then capture. Here is a link to a picture I captured with a fuji disposable. The kodaks just don't work as well

Oooooh. You aren't going to manage that with a disposable. I suggest you take a swab and put it under a microscope.
