I don't mean that Satanic Bible crap, but the actual Bible from Satan's pooint of view? Does anyone else see the potential humor in this for non-believers?

I wondered this after reading someone else's question posted earlier, a davina-somebody. Sorry, but thanks to Yahoo's new layout, I can't see all of your name.

At least, I don't think that's what the Satanic Bible was, but I didn't get past page one, so if I'm wrong, please correct me.

The closest thing would be "The Screwtape letters" by C.S. Lewis.

It is a satirical look at religious and nonreligious life from a demon's point of view.

Basically the Satanic Bible (written by Anton LaVey) is the Bible from Satan's point of view.

Anton Levay, the author of the Satanic bible, was essentially a charlatan and a mediocre poet, but that's a whole other rant ...

as far as i know there isn't a biblical source which gives Satan's perspective, but also keep in mind that most concepts and imagery we have on Satan aren't from the bible (bible makes only a few vague references to him), but they primarily come from non-biblical writings.

there is actually a gospel of Judas from around 200 AD which may be of interest to you.

i suggest finding Milton's "Paradise Lost" where the line "its better to rule in Hell than to serve in Heaven" comes from.

While it's not a straight Bible commentary, check out Mark Twain's "Letters from the Earth":

Yes, you're wrong. Ridiculously wrong. Which shouldn't be surprising from people who don't read books beyond the title page (and yet think they can claim a book is "crap" based upon that "reading").

Everything God has told you is a lie...this is the Devil's story. The Devil's Apocrypha, a novel that gives a revisionist twist to the Bible and has spawned many international cults, has been acquired by Brazilian new age publisher Madras Editoria. The book will be translated from English into Portuguese and distributed worldwide.

I once wrote a series of poems that did that, telling Bible stories from Satan's pov. I took the line that he started out prideful and ended up insane with jealousy, both of God AND man. Sadly, my Commodore died, and I've since lost the floppy it was stored on. I DO remember that God spoke in Haiku.

That would make no sense. How can anyone write a book from Satans POV, when they are in fact NOT SATAN. How would anyone have him POV? Further more, it would be more of a Satanic Testiment than an actual Bible. This question is lame and im just glad I got 2 points out of it.

What does Satan have to do with the bible?
Don't ever refer the bible with Satan's name ever again!
You are desecrating the holy people upstairs.
Bible is holy, not satanic!
I don't believe in Adam and Eve, however I do believe in morality. To even say there's a bible from Satan's point of view is sacrilegious.

devil created no longer something; God created each thing. yet, a loving God would not be a jerk and examine out your faith. He created you so he would desire to love you, and no perception you ever have can substitute that. God made you, He made dinosaurs, and He made the Earth 4.2 billion years in the past for the two you and the dinosaurs to stroll upon, albeit at distinct circumstances. very few Biblical scholars have self belief in a literal definition of Genesis; you need to not the two.
