The main things raised in North America are corn, soybeans, wheat, cotton, vegetables, canola(rape seed), beef, dairy, pork, chickens and eggs.
The culture in agriculture is still the family farm, but it is becoming more industrial all the time.

I don't know what main culture means in this instance, but I just saw a tv program today that said because of ethynol tha a lot of corn is being planted/grown.

soybeans - easy to make hydrogenated oils used at Raunchy Ron's and all the rest for the fast food outlets, and most processed foods sold in Us grocery stores.
