I do know and I also know they produce lots of other toxic products. This is not a dig at all the Chinese people. The government needs to implement better health and safety regulations otherwise, innocent factory workers and owners might be manufacturing toxic goods without knowing they are doing it. I do try my best to avoid buying Chinese products.

I "import" my own toothpaste by the dozens when I was based in China!! That's right!! Whenever I go back to my home country for the holidays, I will bring back with me to Shanghai, at least a dozen toothpaste to last me until my next trip home. Not only toothpaste but of course, medications and some foodstuff. Better to be safe than sorry!!

You seem to forget that after an investigation of the Panama cough syrup blame was laid on a middle man Panama who changed the labels.

Any fool who works with FDA regulations would of enquired the the labelling, as it it not a normal chemical name.
As for the toothpaste who on earth eats toothpaste.... If anyone did eat this the cure the a simple alcoholic drink.
Damn I even ref a source from that you used!

How many brands of Chinese-made toothpastes and cold syrups do you know? Are you implying that ALL of them are contaminated? Looks like there have only been one or a few such brands. So stop trolling!
Do you know that U.S.-made processed meat have been tainted with botulism, a bacteria used in germ warfare? That's right, more than 15 million cans of U.S. made canned meat were recalled in June. Then, there were more sordid stories about tainted spinach, also from the U.S. Now, we have more than 21 million pounds of beef recalled due to E.coli contamination. Infections from all of these can kill you.
Did you have any clue about that?
Do you know that driving or riding in a U.S.-made car could kill you? These cars have faulty engines that catch fire, or have dysfunctional brakes that won't stop you from running into an accident, or have wheels that just break off while driving. Talk about being dangerous! Hundreds of thousands of them are recalled for those problems EVERY YEAR.
From the tone of your question, it appears that you have first consumed these contaminated meat, which caused infections in your brain, then got behind the wheels of your Ford in a delirious state, and drove yourself into oblivion, becoming an undead idiot who now troll the Yahoo! Answers site.
Am I right?

Like American cigarettes, lettuce, ground beef, Jack-in-the-Box burgers, Ford Pintos, spinach, and too many other things to list. Let's bash China. We're so much better.
Go back to your hillbilly minimum wage job and stare at your picture of Dick Cheney.
