The bible teaches that Abraham, in being obedient to God, it was "accounted to him as righteousness". Therefore, those who worshipped the one true God were saved by their faith. It speaks of "Abraham's bosom", this is where the OT faithful were kept before Christ's death on the cross.

Psalms 37:29 is the answer. John 5:28, 29 and Acts 24:15 is how this will be accomplished. P.S. This also included people who lived after Jesus. (John 10:16; Revelation 7:9; 13-17)

Anyone who lived and died during the Old Testament times will be judged by the laws of that time. Once Christ came and died on the cross, the New Testament became law for Christians of today.

That was in the first testament and thus a different covenant with God. Read the bible if you really want to know.
People seem to forget that Christ was a part of God. God, in a sense, sent himself in the form of his son to see what living among humans as a human was really like. To understand human hardships.

Prior to Christ an individual destiny after death was determined on their faith. They had to have faith in God and believe in the coming Messiah. Once a year the high priest would go into the holliest of holies( the back room of the tabernacle) and place the blood of a sacrifice on the alter. This was blood shed for the sins of the people. To day we can have our sins dealt with once and for all by placing our faith in the shed blood of Christ.

That is crazy talk. Christ always has been and was before Jesus showed us the Christ. The people before Jesus have the same tasks as you and I have, to overcome, and this starts either here or hereafter.

I'm not religious, but I've thought the same question, and there seems to be a simple answer.
Maybe all those "parallel" Jesus sightings, like Mithras, or Baldar, or Horus, etc. who were born to virgin births, died, were reborn, WERE Jesus, and we really HAVE been given multiple chances? What a thought!
Who knows?

All people will have the opportunity to learn about and accept Christ, whether in this life or in the next. Those that lived before Christ will be taught the plan after they did. Then they can accept it or reject it.
