That's sure a hard line to figure out. I recall that when I was little, it was easy to recognize and 'old' person. But now, I seem to have a hard time figuring out what 'old' is!
At one time, it would have been easy to say that someone who is 40 is defeinately old. But now that I am approaching 40, and I don't think I feel or even look 'old'...who's to say?!

It depends on what young means to you. If it's merely age, you could be "old" at 29 to some. It's all relative. Young is inside of you not outside. There are people in their 60's doing more sports and other work out activities than most of the younger people today who are hooked on video games. Young is as long as you are healthy and can do the things you want to do for as long as you can do them. Make it an attitude not an age.

When your mind tells you that you are too old to do the simple things.....
"young" is a state of your mind, but your body begins to slow down and become stiffer at times probably by the time you are 65 or so......for some it could be earlier, for some it could be later....
BTW...I am a Grandma of three...I am still YOUNG in the mind, the heart and the body....we run, play, jump and I am not slowed down yet!!

Essentially, when one becomes sexually active. Yes, I know that this happens during the teens in many Americans, but after that line is crossed, one is no longer young.
*Edit 1*
4 thumbs down? How can you define or quantify young? I know people in the 20's who act like their retired. I know people in their 80's who can't sit still. It's relative if you go by years. However, once a person becomes a sexualized, they are 1) no longer a child and 2) they've begun the journey towards a state (being old and not young anymore) I suspect you fear and loathe, but nonetheless is waiting for you down the road.
God! Door.UK was right: what people floating about Y!A recently.

Depends on who you're asking. "Old" will always be 15 years older than I am. Of course, to anyone younger than I, I'm old. To a person 20 years older than I, I'm young. Oh my...talk about all things being relative, *lol*!!

"Old School" considers someone old when they are sexually active, but I would say that someone is old when they are no longer sexually active.
