Yes *and* No.
Yes - if the bones have been cooked, boiled, smoked, or in any other way heated to cook the meat. Cooking chicken bones changes their chemical consistency. They become brittle and break vertically, causing long bone splinters that can seriously injure and even kill a dog.
No - if the bones are raw. Raw chicken bones are a staple for people who feed a BARF (Biologically Appropriate Raw Food) diet to their dogs. Chicken leg quarters, drumsticks, chicken backs, and chicken necks are RMBs, or raw meaty bones. They are an important part of a raw diet because they are a smaller bone that will not damage a dog's teeth like cow or pig's legs can, and they are a soft bone that dogs can grind up, getting the benefit of calcium in the bone as well as the marrow which is high in nutrients.

Any cooked bone is dangerous for your dog to eat. Depending on the specific dog Raw chicken bones are often fine. Dogs that are gulpers shouldn't be fed chicken bones of any kind though because they are less likely to actually chew the bone.

Cooked yes, Raw and meaty.. NO. I have fed raw chicken to my dogs for 5 years and dogs have eaten raw meaty bones for thousands upon thousands of years. Carpinabag kibble has only been around since the late 50's. If bones were so dangerous as most people would try to have you believe, then dogs would have been extinct millions of years ago.
This site will teach you about the bone myth along with many other myths about feeding dogs.

ABSOLUTELY! Chicken bones are hollow like all avian bones are to make the bone less dense so birds can fly( yes I know chickens can't fly far) but they still have avian anatomy. With this, their bones have a tendency to shred and splinter with very minimal pressure and if your dog is eating them it will greatly increase the chance of him/her swallowing a splinter and it get lodged in their throat or even puncturing an organ like their stomach.

Yes! dont ever feed you dogs chicken bones. They are not like beef or pork bones. Chicken bones splinter easily and could cause your dog to choke or pierce the stomach or intestines.

Yes! They are really bad for dogs. They are sharp and the dog can choke on it or maybe even swallow it on accident.
