Either get a lock box for your smaller stuff, or get a lock on your door. You'd need your parent's permission for that, and I don't know if you would get it. I would explain, without whining or histrionics, that you are missing stuff. While you can't prove who did it, it's still missing nevertheless. Tell them (nicely!) that you need a lock box or strong box to store your important items, or a lock on your room so everything is locked up. It would not be fair to accuse someone without proof, but it's not fair to you when your stuff disappears.

YUP, every families got at least 1 thief!! When I couldn't prove it, I just bit the bullet, but I would let the person know that I knew! Of course they always act like "what r you tlaking about??" Then you excuse yourself, appolojize and bait the trap, the next time they r around!! Mark the money/whatever, keep checking them&bait, until you can bust them!!! Then make a really big deal over it, don't worry about the rest of the family, they to, have probably been stole from also!!!

well there are theifs in my family too. You can't do very much to tell you the trueth. but you may look around in their bedroom to see if the item your looking for is there. To go a heavy way use a threat. You can get a personell thing of theirs and sort of black mail them. thats the crule way though you just have to makesure who it might definetly be before acusng them. it's not an every day thing but unles you take it rough they will not show sign

Make sure they are never alone in your home! saying anything only causes rifts between you and the rest of the family. but by protecting your home by never allowing this person in it alone you have a better chance of keeping your things from disappearing.
