Technically, you can get too much calcium and cause deposits in your bones and on your teeth. I don't know that they are problematic per say but the ones on your teeth don't look all that good. But you'd have to drink a LOT of milk for that to happen. Most people don't drink enough milk, much less worry about getting too much. 1%, 2% & skim milk have the same nutritional value as whole milk w/o the unwanted amounts of fat. You are supposed to drink 2-3 servings a day (1 serving being 8oz). I'm sure you are just fine.

Actually too much milk is bad for you. I'm Portuguese , so I don't know what 1% milk is. Here we have non fat milk, medium fat milk and fat milk. Doctors say 1-2 glasses/day of non fat milk is good for adults. Kids can drink a lot more because they are developing their bodies and need the extra calcium. Adults should not drink more than 2 glasses/day because it brings excessive nutrients to your body, that your body has to dispose of. I for example have kidney stone because of excess calcium in my diet ( among other things).

too much of anything is unhealthy, but they were probably referring to whole milk in that movie. If you love your milk then avoid other dairy products. I think according to the "food pyramid" you can have 3 cups of milk a day, but that's if it's your only source of dairy.

I don't drink milk and both I, and my daughter I'm nursing are both healthy, There are other sources of calcium besides cow's milk, such as soy, spinach, and broccoli, which are low fat or fat free. There is always breast milk, but humans aren't pumped with hormones and frequently impregnated the way cows are.

too much of anything can be bad for you. three glasses of 1% or skim milk does not have that much fat in it, so don't worry about that.

have a nice day!

No...that's a lie. There's no effin' way that there's that much fat in there.

Too much of anything is bad...but 1% has less fat than 2% and stuff, so yeah. I think you're fine.

Besides...it's better than drinking pop or whatever.

Damn those retarded teachers trying to brainwash students. Milk is not bad for you!!! If you are allergic, don't drink it, but if not, it's fine. Like the person above me said, 1% is fine, good fat, not bad.
