I don't know, but I think it has something to do with being so upset by the thought that someone doesn't believe the way they do that they can't confront the issue. They'd rather just talk badly about them among other like minded people than learn why someone thinks differently than they do. If they understood us, then they couldn't generalize us according to their personal beliefs. If they ask us why and let us answer, they'll get an answer that doesn't reflect what they want to hear.

Why would you want to hear the opinions of people who don't agree with you? Or allow the people you're feebly attempting to insult to answer back?

For the same reason that some atheists have all the Christians blocked, yet they ask "questions" about Christianity.
Silly, huh?

It really brings a tear to my eye that this scumbag has me blocked, yet he is gutless enough to start up threads accusing me of doing whatever he is ranting about.

It's an attempt to seem open-minded. But since someone figured it out this means that they suck at life.

Because they just want people who believe the same who agree with them to answer because it bolsters their obvious lack of self-confidence in their own beliefs.
