You are so much better than my hubby. He just doesn't go. He finds some job or chore he was supposed to complete three years ago and gets everything out like he is going to do it.
I fall for it and am excited that we don't have to hire someone after all.
I come home hours later and the job is....
1. Either done and he's hidden the bill from the contractor who did it for him. He's watched TV and done nothing.
2. Just didn't do it because he either got hurt (either an ace bandage or bandage as proof) (one time he even hit himself in the leg with the hammer as proof).
I figure that if he goes to those lengths not to shop with me I'd rather have him stay home than rush me out of the stores or say his usual "I'll wait in the car".
Funny thing, when he shops for himself it's a much different story.
Can't wait to hear more tomorrow!!!

I`m not married but spent Sunday afternoon with a guy friend and we were both happy walking around a target store. It was fun just to be together and he never mentioned leaving..

By being quite a handful it would seem hubby thinks he can get out of those little shopping sprees. Maybe a few of us ladies should show him how we act at the home improvement store or the auto parts store! lol
Love the 'tips'. lol

You're a lucky girl! He sounds like a fun companion.

He could be at home (the way I like it), crankily saying "c'mon let's go", telling you "you don't need that", gawking at other women, or criticizng your every move.

He may not... 'always'... be fun but he's never boring!
Happy Shopping Juju

well, I think you may be on to something...I solved the problem long ago....I found that everything my partner tried on make them look fat...."that really makes you look fat." Try this (always offer a hideous, out of date substitute...like purple polka dots on a orange background. Bring a moo-moo of the rack and tell her this will be very flattering to you! Trust me, you will NOT be inviting to go on any more shopping trips! Mission Impossible...I don't think so...more like, "Mission accomplished! :-) Now, if you really want to finish it off, mention, "I have ALWAYS liked that look on you....it reminds me of when we first met! Your husband sounds like he's a lot of fun. My husband is fun too, but not when shopping unless I bribe him. But that works.

I bought mine a cell phone and now he disappears into other parts of the mall completely. He's not on top of me, and we can always stay in contact whereever we go.

Ahhh--------------hhhhh, space and time to shop on my own.
I love it!
