I sent in my Resume through Email yesterday & I wanted to call the Jobs HR Dept and ask if they have recieved my Resume and I also want to sound very professional b/c this would be for a Admin job. What can I say to make them want me?! This job would mean the world to me... and pull me from working a dead end job.

Telephone the HR department or talk to the person you emailed.

Here is what my conversation would be (if it is a person under 45, then it may need to be changed) (if the person is over 50, then you would want to be a bit more formal and follow it up with a thank you note):

Hello, my name is Envirodude and I was wanting to verify that you had received my resume for position (advertised? or how you heard about it) that I sent to you yesterday.

I was wanting to make sure you did not have any difficulties with the attachment. No? well, are there any questions I can answer for you at this time? I am very excited about being able to apply for the position with your company.

Thank you very much for your time and consideration.
