Love is a needed emotion for humans. If you date someone and find that you truly could love them......all that is required of you is your HONESTY to that person. That person has the right to decide, too. How dare you decide that you should not offer yourself to someone!!!! It is not fair of you to keep yourself from interacting in life and take a chance that the partner you might find might love you anyway!

Yes it is fair.....just because you had cancer doesnt mean that you cant have a chance to love someone. Actually alot of people like people who are survivors. It is a beautiful thing. I hope all is well with you. And again GO FOR IT<3

Sure it is. I wouldn't tell them like the first time you met them or anything. Too much personal, sensitive information coming out on the first or second date tends to scare people. However, when the time is right it would be good to tell them. Personally for me I wouldn't care in the slightest if the one I loved was a cancer survivor for myself. Of course I would care about them, but I mean I wouldn't be selfish in the way that I would think -"Oh great, he's unhealthy, don't want him!" People that would do that to you aren't worth it anyway. Love is unselfish, kind, and unrelenting. Of course you deserve to be happy and loved. â¥

that decision is ultimately up to you. i think that if you want to stay single go for it but dont settle with nothing. i think that you shouldn't deny yourself the right to love. but if you think and whole heartly believe that you really want to stay single then more power to you. you survived cancer and that is a major thing that many dont get a chance to do. do what you feel is right. dont think about who you could have been with, think about you and what makes you happy. you never know you might find that person that makes you have a change of heart. congratulations on being a cancer survivor.

You need love just as much as anyone else, if not more. You're probably still worried about dealing with your health, which is understandable, but until you put yourself out there, you'll never find someone who's willing to support you through whatever may or may not happen. As long as you are up front and honest with people about your recent struggle, you will probably find that they are more willing to be supportive than you might think.

As long as you are open and honest with a partner, there is no reason for you not to have a serious relationship. You are a survivor! Go for it.

It's only unfair if they have a kidney fetish.
Honestly.... you shouldn't take life so seriously. None of us make it out alive... so you may as well have as much fun as possible while you are here. You received a second chance at life, which most of us never get. Be grateful.
