I sincerely apologize for infringing upon your right to freely practice your religion by resisting your attempts to convert me and make me live under the laws of your bible. It was very inconsiderate of me and I'm truly sorry. I hope you can find it in your Christian heart to forgive me.

Challenging a person's beliefs is not prejudice, it is debate. You can challenge ours as well. Saying "I don't think Bush is a good president" to someone who thinks the opposite is not being rude to the person. It is stating one's opinion. Giving examples, IE, "The war in Iraq has killed many innocent people on both sides," is an argument supporting the thesis. The person that is challenged is then expected to find a counterargument. I can see why the person challenged might find this to be "prejudice" if they cannot find a decent counter, but really, it's not.

I believe Christians have tried to "save me from damnation" out of a desire to have their beliefs validated. I would consider that an act of anti-atheist prejudice under your definition.

Expressing my opposition to Christian doctrine is about just that -- MY opposition to irrational thinking and unsubstantiated belief in imaginary deities. Christians are the ones who interpret my legitimate and legally protected opinions as "disrespect." Sorry, but the days of chaining a free-thinker to a stake and burning him alive are over. Americans are allowed to have their own opinions and to freely express them. The very idea that your faith's irrational superstitions are somehow protected from public criticism is an abomination to people who believe in the U.S. Constitution and freedom of speech. Your relentless provocations serve only to emphasize traditional Christian intolerance and to undermine your own cause.
As for saving atheists from damnation -- the very God you expect we atheists to grovel before is the one who would condemn us to Hell. Your evil God deliberately hides his existence from from countless good and moral people and then callously condemns them to an eternity of torture for not being able to see him? That's insane! Who in their right mind would willingly worship such a perverted tyrant? How dare you claim you're attempting "to save [us] from damnation?" What Christianity is actually doing is simply traditional hate-mongering and is utterly despicable. If the Bible-Jesus ever actually existed, He would make his existence unambiguously obvious to everyone and put an end to the cruel head games and emotional suffering people like you create in His name.
EDIT: Two days in a row you've managed to push my button and launch me into an indignant rant. Now I discover You're not even a real Christian, but an atheist imposter. Your fraud has wounded me and deeply insulted my integrity. Why do you do such an abominable thing to good people who have never harmed you? Do you enjoy provoking unnecessary anger? Do you enjoy causing others to suffer needlessly? Perhaps you are a compulsive liar who enjoys manipulating other people's emotions. Whatever the reason, I do not appreciate being manipulated by unscrupulous frauds.

Because y'all are always trying to shove your ideas and beliefs down every ones throats. Look at the Mormon's baptizing people of all faiths off the public death records. If you and all other religious folk minded your own for a change maybe there would be a little peace in the world

Religion doesn't deserve any respect. As Richard Dawkins said, it is usually talked about with a strange respect so that we don't offend people and they can continue having FAITH even though there is no evidence at all. THIS is dangerous! We need to be harshly critical with religion or eventually science will be discarded and our species will dumb down to extinction as we'd be relying on pseudoscience and the placebo effect!
Theists make the claim that there is a sky-pixie daddy and they had better come up with evidence or they'll be ridiculed. Their belief needs to be challenged or we won't be getting anywhere.
It is not about being prejudiced, but intellectually honest.

To disagree is to be anti-Christian and prejudiced?
Weird...
There exist no laws in this country which require me to tiptoe around the beliefs of others while always refraining from speaking up to criticize or disagree. The government isn't allowed to force anyone into or out of any religion, but that's where it's power ends. I don't have to like Christianity or even be nice about my dislike for it.
And that doesn't make me prejudiced. I didn't "pre-judge" Christianity. In fact, I *was* a Christian for many years. I took a long hard look at Christianity and THEN judged it. I respect that which deserves respect; Christianity sometimes inspires kindness and charity, but overall the religion itself is not worthy of respect.

You showed your challenge to the views of atheists in your own question. Don't you know that atheists do not believe that you are saving them from damnation? By demanding respect for your salvation work (which you can't prove by the way), you are being quite the hypocrite here.
You also single out atheists. Interesting. Why do you not include non-Christian religions in there. There are many that question the chrisian viewpoint every single day. Why do you not include them in your hypocritical tirade?

So should we instead concentrate on questioning the beliefs of Muslims, Catholics, Atheists and others like Christians do?? Or wouldnt that be anti-atheistic prejudice?? Oh yeah - that doesnt exist to you, does it?

While I appreciate your good intentions, we are not asking you to try so hard to save us from anything.
Atheists basically challenge the beliefs of everyone who believes in god, not just christians. It's just easiest to find the fundamentalist christians around here.
