You will never get better advice than this: stop treating you acne like an enemy to be defeated. Instead, make your skin inhospitable to acne so it can't thrive there in the first place.
First step: don't scrub. Don't be rough on your skin. Treat it like thin, delicate tracing paper.
The best product you can buy is by the French company DARPHIN. You can buy it at Neiman Marcus. The product you need is called "Gel Mousse Purifiant". I've recommended this to a lot of people, including guys, and it always works so fast they can't believe it.
If you can afford it, they have a good moisturizing face cream that will keep your skin from having to produce so much oil to stay hydrated. It used to be called "Vital Protection Fluide de Jour". They replaced it with some other name, so just ask for the current one.
Remember, if you attack the acne, you are also attacking the skin. It's like trying to get rid of cancer and killing all the healthy cells around it. Instead, improve the quality of your skin. This Gel Mousse Purifiant will do that.

I LOVE the Neutrogena blackhead/acne scrub. Its a little rough, but my skin looks much better. I no longer have those little pimples on my jawline under my ear!
Try a different face lotion too, it may be the lotion sucks and not that the cleanser sucks. I like Biore's shine free lotion, but its a little light for some people.
I've also been told by about a thousand people that if you use lotion it will actually make it more oily. Weird huh? But true..i use lotion every day now and my skin is less oily.

I like to use Oil of Olay Body Wash for sensitive skin, applied with one of those nylon puffs, which you can use to scrub but will not be too rough on the skin.
My skin is very sensitive, and, due to my illnesses, tend to develop a rash because I'm photosensitive. The body wash works wonders on my facial skin when I use the buff in a gently scrubbing motion. It doesn't dry out my skin either.
The buff puffs are inexpensive and can be replaced, depending on how much wear there is. A nylon puff is far gentler than a washcloth.
That's just a suggestion, but maybe it will help.
Noxzema can be soothing, but I like the original, not the one for sensitive skin. it can dry the skin sometimes, if yours is varriable like mine.
I'm sure that you've heard to drink plenty of water, which does help hydrate the skin.

Cetaphil Skin Cleansing Lotion is a good jump start to taking care of your skin. You can buy this at most CVS or Duane Reade type drugs stores. I have found that a good face cleanser that does not have all those additives is part of the overall solution. Not to mention, it does not dry out your skin!

they say to wash your face just use water as soaps can wash away the natural skin protection,so a good natural facial scrub-make your own exfoliating scrub for your face by mixing cornmeal, honey ans ground walnuts,Rub it on your face with your finger tips and leave for 5mins b4 rinsing off.
After youve cleansed your face restore the natural pH balance to your skin by splashing warm water containing cider vinegar, allow to dry withouy towel.good 4 acne sufferers

I use this stuff called Olay daily wipes for oily/combination skin. its really good. you use the tough hard side at first to exfoliate dead skin cells, then use the soft side to wipe off eye makeup and stuff. It doesn't irritate skin and is a cleanser, toner, mask and scrub (at least, that's what it says on the box) but it works REALLY well.

facial wash = St Ives Facial Scrub ((really good!))
Acne Remover = Zineryt ((prescribed by a doctor but is incredible!))
The st ives wont dry out your skin but give it a healthy grow and feel really smooth.
The zyneryt doesnt kll your skin and does contain benzol peroxide or sasasilic acid which is another one to look out for!
