I mean, assuming that a married Christian couple enjoys "golden showers", is it sinful? They're "allowed" to be sexual with each other, so... is urophilia permissible to God?
Here's an explanation of "watersports" and "golden showers" for those who don't know: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Urophilia

casj2006, why is it stupid? I think it's a legitimate inquiry... I don't know if certain sexual fetishes are acceptable in the Christian religion, so I'm asking here. Isn't that what Yahoo! Answers is for? You know, to get your questions answered?

If you enjoy being pissed on, you need therapy, not religion.

Well if you read the Mosaic law, you will see that God asks the Israelites to draw a distinction between the clean and the unclean in nature. Between things that give life and things that bring death.
I would say mixing up waste products (which are nature's refuse) with the reproductive act (which gives life) would be against the spirit of the law of Moses.
That being said, if we expect our obedience to the law to save us, we will have to obey the entire law without spot or blemish. And we know that no one can successfully do that. We are saved by grace and not by the law.
So ultimately, just like most things in Christianity, it is up to the individual's conscience whether this activity is sinful to them or not. Afterall anything that does not proceed from faith is sin. (Romans 14:23)

What does marriage have to do with it. It is NOT sexual. There will be no offspring as a consequence. It doesn't even have to be man and woman, you know. Baby boys like to give their parents golden showers at diaper changes.
For that matter, it's not religious either.
If you and your partner really like it, there's no rule to stop you.
Common sense might enter into it, but there seems to be a major lack of that today.

In many cases, watersports are simply a particular strain of BDSM. The act of urination (on another) is an act of complete dominance over the other; a marking of the other as if he/she were being claimed as property or territory. In the same sense that animals mark their territory by urination. Animals have also been known to mark their mating partners by this very same manner, although this behavior is less common.
By contrast, urination (by itself) as a response to an external stimuli can be viewed as a complete act of submission. In this regard, the dominant creature is perceived as being so "powerful" he/she makes the perceiver (submissive) lose complete bladder control and wet himself.
The broader question, of course, is whether acting out dominance-submission fantasies is sinful.
Of course one has to start this inquiry with the question of why people have such fantasies in the first place. After all, it is said that man was created in God's image. Therefore, if humans were "intelligently designed" by the Creator, is this proclivity actually part of that design? i.e. does it mirror the image of God? Or does it stem from another origin?
Most Christian scholars agree that it stems from another origin. Not just this particular fetish, but all other fetishes as well, including same sex-proclivities (such as homosexuality), people who are born with multiple sexual organs, ambiguous sexual organs, hermaphrodites, etc.
For all of this wasn't so at the beginning. Man and Woman were originally created in a perfect harmonious and equal relationship between themselves and with God. In a perfect exchange of love. Originally, there was no drive for either to dominate the other, nor was there a drive to be dominated by the other.
Well, what happened? This is actually unclear. But many religious scholars (e.g. Christopher West interpreting the late John Paul II's "Theology of the Body") believe that Original Sin caused a major rift or distortion in all of humanity. This distortion affected even hereditable characteristics, such as traits which are known to be passed through our DNA.
Dennis Prager has argued that a being cannot be be faulted by the creator if he has been created with strong craving, for example, to want popsicles, in a world where popsicles exist, but are forbidden by the Creator to eat. Perhaps only God, in his infinite justice, can answer this question.
From my perspective, such a position is definitely easier to defend than Adam's; because Adam was not born with a craving for the forbidden fruit. Luckily, we do not have to defend our positions; we are all sinners, yet Christ has already cleared our debt in full.

It doesn't matter. It's what you enjoy that counts. It's time to take the Bible out of the bedroom.

I don't think it's wrong between a married couple. I would rather not know about it, though.
